The Wiki pages nowhere state that the Access-key and the serial-Number should NOT use the spaces that you can see in the Android Nefit App, or on the underside of the Nefit Thermostate.
Thanks for the remark. I added this to the Domoticz Wiki https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/NefitEasy

I have a weird issue with my Domoticz and Nefit Easy http server where it has trouble 'finding' the gas usage device after starting Domoticz.

I am running Domoticz 2020.2 in docker container on Qnap NAS. Nefit Easy HTTP server is running on a seperate (linux) machine. All was running fine.

Yesterday evening I updated the Qnap container station app to the latest version. Nothing changed on the Nefit easy http server. After Domoticz was restarted everything worked again, except for the gas usage which was not updated anymore. The 'last seen' date remained on the date/time it last run before the update.

10 hours later it still had not updated the gas usage while gas was used during that period, and 'last seen' of the gas usage device was still from before the update. All the other Nefit easy items (like temperature) worked, only the gas usage was not updated. Doing a manual

"curl http://<<my easy server ip>>/bridge/ecus/rrc/recordings/yearTotal"

also worked normally and I saw the value reported being updated when using gas.

I restarted Domoticz a couple of times but no change.
Finally I restarted Domoticz while have the hot water running (so using gas) and kept it running for a while, not sure if that was the solution but after some minutes after the restart it finally updated the gas usage again. And now it keeps updating the gas usage normally again.

I had similar issues when first installing this Domoticz version a couple of months ago, where it took quite some time before it 'found' the gas usage device. When I checked devices in Domoticz after the installation it had all the Nefit easy items except the gas usage, and it took some time before it also saw the gas usage device. Did not had to restart Domoticz since installing until now.

Does anybody have similar experience and/or know why it has trouble finding the gas usage device?
