Hi all, just to point out that the plugin is working fine on my Domoticz setup, with Toon 1. No need to change settings, just IP-address.
Could it be that your IP is changing over time (due to DHCP)? Can you set a fixed IP in your router to Toon?

For my Toon i have a fixed IP. I can connect to the Toon using Putty. So that all works.
At the moment i enable the plugin all my devices disappear.

Do you see something in the log ?
I've seen when i device is not setup properly it could delete all devices of the Toon plugin

I had it working for a short time.
All Toon devices showe on DOmoticz and are on the Dashboard.
But a few minutes later, no more devices:

When i stop the Hardware Rooted Toon all devices show, after i start it up all devices disappear:

All modes are having a value except Mode6

No Clue. I’m not using the plugin.

If you look into the script there should only be 5 modes. Mode 6 is not mentioned in the script

I have just rooted the Toon and installed the Plugin. I have got two questions:

And I was wondering what the "Toon - Auto Program" does with the values Yes/no/Temporary. It says temporary but my program is on in the Toon, I don't know if this is the same?

At first glance the plugin seems to work OK afterwards.

I think the problem is related to the Boiler part. When I connect manually to the Toon for the Boiler, it also does not seems to work. Also I do not have info related on the Toon for this. So this is my cause I think for the 404 error. I have commented out the lines related to the Boiler in the plugin, that seems to work OK.. Don't have that error, but maybe there is a more permanent way of solving it in the plugin.

Hi Crono, when you install Boilerpressure app in the Toon device, the error should be gone. I had similar problems at first, seems like the script needs some value not available in 'standard' Toon, only trough the Boiler app.

I have a rooted Toon 1 on Firmware 5.49.7. I don't have Zon op Toon or ToonWater.
I've installed the plugin as described and everything seems to be working however I get these error lines every 10 seconds, any idea how to fix this?

Goodmorning,

I have a Rooted Toon2 working fine, and connected with Domoticz, with these settings.

I do see the devices created by the plugin.

I deactivated the ones which do not function because the boiler does not give the info, and I use a P1 meter, so not interested in double info
about Gas and Electricity.

In the log I constantly see these error.

Solved my problem cosmetically by turning off the error logging. Everything seemed to be working fine, so for the time being, this will do for me

Update:

Since 16:43 the connection is lost with the RootedToon. Don't no what happened.

A restart of the RootedToon solved the connection-problem, and the errors are gone for now. But I'm sure the errors will come back!

So filtering Errors in the log is not a good idea.
Any help appreciated!

Guys,
I've cloned the plugin and made a small update
- Change : Devices are created automatically
- Change : New device : Boiler status
- Change : small name changes

I hope to make a update on the Toon Scenes based on the temperature change
If somebody has pyhton scripting experience i need all the help there is

Is there a option to select witch sensor we want to use or not.
I use a Toon V1 with thermostat on/off mode.
And i have an external P1 port reading.
In domoticz there are several devices created by the plugin i do not use Humidity and system pressure.
when i delete them the script creates them again.

by the way it is working fine and nice work

Not at the moment
It is quit difficult to make too many option in a plugin.
You can always disable the device is the section Devices in Domoticz.
Also there difference between v1 en v2. And also per version there differences

When I disable them I get errors in the log section.
Can't auto create device because " auto add hardware" is off
Can I disable it in the python script?

I have managed to adapt the python script to disable the creating of the unnecessary sensors and disable the error giving in domoticz

Thanks for that, at least now I can do some things again with my antiquated Toon V1
