djib78 wrote:Hello,

I try to link current cost bridge with Domoticz without success.
My current cost bridge working fine in my.currentcost.com.

To add current cost bridge material in Domoticz you need to set IP address en port number :
- IP address is local network IP ?
- port number is 80 ?

Thanks for your help

Correct

John
So at least my interpretation was that it is not meant to work with the bridge, unfortunately...

You're right for the cable.

But you can't use both solution at the same time.

However, there is a Current Cost device with Lan Interface in Domoticz, maybe this is for your netsmart.
Im afraid it's not:

I have currently hooked my EnviR to both Netsmart bridge and USB with a help of RJ45 splitter (you can get one from Ebay for a dollar or two).

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I picked up a brand new sealed Envir kit at a Yard Sale for just a few pennies (UK), Bargain of the year!
Two questions:

Anyone know if the cable is propriety, i.e. can I make one ? Electronics workshop here and all sorts parts etc just trying to work out Ethernet to USB schematic the Envir uses?

Secondly, once cabled, can it connect directly to my PI in one of the spare USB ports, and kind of set and forgot (my Domoticz Pi is in a hard accessible cupboard)
