We have a lot of idea’s that we need to turn into working products. Similar idea is on the table (for the long term) but most likely it will not reach a development stage as the current Meek switches outperform these devices.

i'm working on same since 4 years but my progress not bad but need more help and i'm alone can you support me?

This looks all very nice and promising, but what are the dimensions of the switch? Do you also produce socketoutlet brackets, like these :


Because in Europe we use these brackets, I now have 5 x10 wall dimmers beneath each other in a 5 hole bracket, when i want to change it for 5 meek dimmers, it will not fit when the dimensions are let's say 86mm. Because the holes in the wall are lay out for a bracket where the switches/dimmers are positioned in.

We’ve finalized the development of the Meek MT2 & Meek MT3. These are Wi-Fi enabled dual or triple touch input and dual or triple SSR output switches. Next week, we will assemble the Meek DDD board. This is a unit with pre-installed Wi-Fi enabled Doorbell & DSMR compatible P1 smart meter reader input & Development board.
• Doorbell – This will be a Wi-Fi enabled & (arguably) the most flexible doorbell module. It can be used parallel to the existing doorbell or as a standalone module or in mixed mode.
• DSRM/P1 – has an inbuilt P1 port that can be attached to a smart meter to read the Electricity & Gas usage and send this data thru Wi-Fi to a monitoring system like Domoticz.
• Development board – most GPIO pins of the ESPS12 unit are made available to use to do some easy development. Also I2C ports are made external to attached compatible devices.


Next week, I hope to assemble the first alpha board to do some more testing. Once assembled I will report back with a small update.

We’re still searching for partners that can provide us the dual and triple socket wall panels. We have received some samples and are now in discussion with a few potential candidates! Hopefully we can sort things out so we can place every household switch for a Meek variant

Love to hear this! And sound great to have a p1 also. Maybe I will replace my old p1 wifi meter and combine it with the Meek one.... I'm still a happy tester of the first test module with 1 touch switch. Work like a charm!!!

It’s still too early to give an accurate price target as this is still an alpha build, but we will do our utmost to keep our products affordable as possible.

I have a early build version. You have power off the house. Attach the switch to its place and glass. Then power on electricity again.
Now the touch feature will calibrate itself.

They build a new version where you can do a calibrate manual in the setup (don't know if this already in the switched that are sold)

I powered off the group where my meek switches are connected to. After 3 attempts the calibration on initialization succeeded. Fingers crossed that they will continue to work after a power outage (this group is not secured by my UPS).

I can not see how it will look, if you would have 3 or more holes in the wall, next to each other, and replace 3 switches, which will be in a frame that goes with the switches and is brand specific, with 3 of the meek switches next to each other in the 3 holes, is there any frame ? And what are the dimensions of the switch?

LOL and two empty holes next to the MEEK switch ?

I thought maybe just replace the old switches one on one, so no other work had to be done, like filling the holes, stuuk the holes and then paint the entire wall.... but okay ! So it is not to replace existing switches that have their own holes with hole dimensions used in every house and sold at the bouwmarkt. I mean the round plastic brackets that are in the wall where the switches fit in... together with their frame.

I mean most people have standard dimension holes in the wall with 2 or 3 or more switches so I was wondering what the dimensions of the switch would be, and if they maby would fit in a frame, so i could just replace the old swiches with new MEEK switches. Is it so crazy to ask?



This is one of the reasons i did not bought any chinese cheap dimmers or switches, because these chinese sellers/manufacturers do not get that we have the frames that go with our switches and there for the dimensions are different in Europe. I think almost every house has this?






I mean these "inbouwdozen" built-in boxes, in the wall have a certain measurement that is in every house the same. So I was just wondering, but as I get it now, it is not for replacing the old switches, i get that now, nevertheless it is a beautiful switch/dimmer, this MEEK. But I do not think i am going to stuuk and paint my entire wall for it.
