Hmm, in your browser, try to go to
https://username:password@IP:Port/json.htm?type=devices&filter=light&used=true&order=Name
This is the request that the watch does basically. If you dont get an answer similar to below from this, then something is wrong with your settings:
{
"result" : [
{
"IsDimmer" : false,
"Name" : "Bedroom lights",
"SubType" : "Energenie",
"Type" : "Lighting 1",
"idx" : "43"
},
{
"IsDimmer" : false,
"Name" : "Hall",
"SubType" : "Energenie",
"Type" : "Lighting
.......
It shouldnt be a problem, but I havent tested it butif you have a custom HTTPS port, try changing it to the standardport 443 on your domoticz setup.

Hi again, the solution I wrote in the first answer to you is still valid. However, I noticed that you for some reason doesnt run the updated app. The menus should be blue, like my pictures above your post. Version should be 1.2.0 if you check the store.

Is there a possibility to decrease the font size in gearoticz ?
I have configured my Gear S3 to the smallest font, but gearoticz is still far to Big to properly display the labels of my switches
Thanks

Got one for Christmas, first app I looked for was Domoticz, lol. Was happy to see it existed. So I added server and got it working, so far so good.
Question, can we add by domain name or is address only? Domain would be beneficial when not at home and in the case of dynamic is.

Hi Ehallq
I dis not see the answer regarding the fact of using domain name instead of IP in the server parameters.
For those who dont have a fixed IP, this is a must when outside the house wifi...
I can easily access to domoticz with any brother using https://mydomainname:myport but it does not work with gearoticz.
Any idea?
Thanks

I use a domain instead of IP for Gearoticz, and it works. You shouldnt enter https://mydomainname:myport in the IP field
Since you use SSL (HTTPS)
You should have the following settings:
IP: mydomainname
Port: myport
User: username
Password: password
HTTPS?: yes
In my case I navigate to
https://www.mydomain.com
Then
IP:
www.mydomain.com
Port: 443
HTTPS?: yes
I did what was instructed for the domain, port, etc. I am behind a reverse proxy, which may be the reason why this doesn't work. Are there any settings that need to be accounted for in an nginx configuration (i.e. forwarding headers, etc.)?

I found it a few days ago. I've searched for gearoticz and first there were no search result. But you have two types of stores, one for dials and one for apps. By default you only search in the dials section. Select apps and you wil find the app

Hi Ehallq,
I have added blinds and a sunscreen to my domoticz.
If I add these as switches I can only switch them on or off.
It would be nice if there was an option like in the web interface -> up - stop - down.
Including the current state.
Can you add support to your gear app?

Hi!
Sorry for late response, I am not visiting this forum that much these days, but I will try to get better. Also I will try to make an update for the app with some small fixes. Like making the app updating the status of the switches without closing and opening the app, and add support for locks in a nicer way other than ordinary switches.
About blinds, I might be able to add that later on in that update. I don't have any blinds myself, but I could always try it with a dummy switch
About the app, yes it should be available, however it costs 1$, which might make it hidden for some countries. But Netherlands should definitely find it. Be sure that you are under the watch category in the galaxy app store. Also I don't have the Galaxy Watch, so not sure if that watch is supported, and if that could make it hard for you to find it on the app store. But my guess is that the app should be supported by all round samsung watches. I have no plan to buy the Galaxy Watch currently, mostly due to that I find it to expensive, when I currently have the Gear S3
EDIT: A friend have the Galaxy Watch and we were able to download it. However, the app doesnt appear in the app store on the watch. You need to use the phone to find the app.

Galaxy Watch users have downloaded it at least. Cannot confirm if it has worked or not, but I haven't gotten any complaints

I have no idea actually. If it works for a while, and then stops, it has to do with something on your watch.

Are you sure that you aren't in the menu where you just add the switches to the startscreen of the app? I really sure that you are in the settings menu, toggling adding/removing the switch to the startscreen of the app.

Now I can use but after about 10 minutes if I want use again run the program on my watch and must wait about 10-15 seconds to use it again. So some delay on it.

Hello,
I've just bought this application (for a Gear S2) which seemed very promising, but after it worked very good (including for my zwave lock) for a while, it stopped working.
It seems the whole server configuration is blanked randomly ? (don't know what could trigger that).
After putting in the configuration again : it works again (for a little time).
Could you please check what could do this ?

Sadly I'm having the exact same problem - the config doesn't even last beyond the watch screen timing out once. @ehallq please try to have a look at this as the app has real promise!
