With the gateway, switch the light on from the app to get Domoticz to detect it.
The humidity values appeared automaticly this morning! And I could also add the gateway.
Would love to see the alarm feature of the gateway implemented :)

Thanks guys for your work.

If you have ruled out it being caused by caching, then you don't have the latest web files for whatever reason, or there could be a bug in the web page. Do you see in errors in the chrome developer console?
I see this error on chrome console:

Code: Select all

Failed to load resource: http://192.168.xx.xx:xxxx/js/jquery-1.12.0.min.js
Thanks

I'm not seeing that error, but... now my hardware page is not working! There was recently a pull request that changed the hardware page code, and it might have caused our problem.
Question about the Xiaomi Gateway in Domoticz? Please check the Wiki first: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

Now, with latest beta 3.6454, I don't see anymore the previous error.
I can see the HW page, but still no other fields in the Xiaomi Gtw.
As also nogo said, the beta prior 3.6441 was working fine, at least at me.

Same here, just compiled Corbin's version and ran that for test, that displays the full gateway options so something is off in the official beta channel

Hi guys, again, loving your work on Domoticz!
I have one question regarding the button and the selector switch. With the long press, the switch is triggered twice, once for press, once for release. Normally this wouldn't be a big issue because sending a on action twice still will result in an on action. In my case it's different since I want to use it as a toggle switch. Long press > toggle switch. Now it toggles: switch is off > long press xiaomi button > switch on > release long press button > switch off.

How can i fix this?

Which switch ?
Round one ?
Wired 1 button
Wired 2 buttons
Wireless 1 button
Wireless 2 button ?

Be more precise please ! There is 5 switch now.

And give use which domoticz version you have ? Official beta ? Or corbin github which date ?

Just update to last domoticz beta and looks ok for me.

Just waiting to get rotation value for cube on a text device. And 2 switch on/off for wired 2 button.
Domoticz stable 3.5877 for real & Domoticz beta for test

I wasn't aware other products also supported long press. My question is regarding the round one supporting 1 click, double click and long press.

I'm using the latest beta 3.6478 on windows and as for as i know the latest available software version of the Xiaomi hub..
It wouldn't be an issue if you would send an on or off command. It simply would power on twice, in this case because it's a toggle it creates a problem.

Strange, mine (the round wireless switch) does react as expected, click, double click and long press is detected without the release as a new trigger. Does the xiaomi app detect it properly?

Probably known already to the devs, but I stumbled onto this sheet where the devices and the data types is explained.

You can see that the zigbee smart socket sends the status, voltage, power and even energy costs

This is currently by design. And can be changed though.
By adding another level to the selector for 'long press release'

can change that if this make more sense and make a pull request to @corbin later on.
After I figure out how to create different index devices from the same id.
Having trouble with it, as I'm trying to change the switch selectors of the Aqara to on/off type.

.
Depending of usage !

For a ringbell
If long click : ring on, if long click release ring off.

On my case i just need long click order to set a milight bulb on disco mode (don't care if long click begin or end)

It would be great if it could be changed.
Just out of curiosity, why is it by design?

Sorry, i will rephrase, it was discussed previously,
But didn't find good use case, so it was left that way.
I will change it and create pull request for corbin's git hub.

The last beta update has killed my domoticz installation... nothing working anymore. I have "Domoticz offline" that is shown".
Any idea how I could recover from command line? I am running on ubuntu.

Ok I've found how to do it. And it's working back. ;)
