Randomly its added now - just discovering devices & it found none so I have something setup wrong haha..
Update:- Its my port in the settings I believe - I need 8081 not 8080. Trying to find a way of editing it to reupload the new files

@Madgeni
Changed the port and in Lambda test it will turn off my wall lights so I guess its working. However when I discover it doesn't find anything. I have 400 devices within Domoticz.. Is that an issue?

ok - so here's hoping this is an easy one
It will only discover devices that are in Room Plans in Domoticz - do you have room plans?

Oh yes, I have 16 rooms within Domoticz

that's that out then
If you go into Cloudwatch logs under Monitoring in your Lambda - and do another discovery in your app, do you see any logs?

NO, only logs I see are the turn off of the wall light when testing

ok - so let's tick off some obvious stuff:
Is the skill configured for US? Is the lambda running in Virginia? - if both are true, and it's not working, can you switch it to English (UK) and recreate the lambda in EU (Ireland) and try again?

I think Skill is UK and Lambda Virginia.. Got a bit muddled as wanted to ask devices for their temperature.. Should I start a new US and Virgnia? If so can I just add it to the exiting setup and delete the English UK one
Edit:- Tried above - Now everything is US

You can have both UK & US in the skill (just switch the default around), and you can have two lambdas - it will only hit one of them.
It's a bit of a dark art, Amazon haven't documented the setup, however it seems to work - if you have an amazon.co.uk account, have the lambda in Ireland, and an English(UK) skill, if you don't, English(US) and lambda hosted in Virginia.

Set it up using all UK and its sort of working. Found all my devices. I shall have a play about with it. Shame the Temp doesn't work with the EU stuff. Main reason I was trying to implement it, sure it will come with time. So If my device is called Living Room - Wall Lights in Domoticz and in a living room do I say Living Room - Wall Lights, What I'm trying to ask is does the room need to be mentioned when turning them on?
Thanks for your help

you can set the temperature, increment/decrement should be done tomorrow, get temp is ready, but pending Amazon pulling their fingers out.
You say Alexa, turn on device name in the Alexa app - whatever that is. borgon has added functionality to create friendly names (should be in the manual), if you find that better for you.

I have started changing the names in the description and discovering again. Was working but now its saying device isn't responding.. So its understanding commands and finding devices but not turning them off anymore.. Don't know why.. I'll take a look at logs

update: I now have the proper device names and the second line is the kind of device. perfect.
Increment and decrement is not working for me, cause I ( read Madgeni) am trying to figure out why I can't query my temperature devices

Thanks for this - spend last night setting it up and works ok apart from that Alexa keeps responding with 'i found more than one device named xxxxx, which one did you want' - then when i repeat the device name, it works fine.
Also, I didn't have my Domoticz opened up to the internet until I needed it for this - what are you guys using to secure your setups?
I have enabled the Domoticz web security and currently attempting to configure a reverse proxy via DD-WRT on my router.. anything else I can be doing to secure Domoticz from bad people?
