Domoticz

Hopefully the developer is just busy with other things and we will hear from him soon.

For now, the white screen is the only problem, the rest works fine for me.
I just start with sliding the screen.

I'd like to use an existing apache install to frontend (reverse proxy) my raspberry pi Domoticz install. As such, I've added the following apache config:

<Location /domoticz/>
ProxyPass http://192.168.1.109:8080/
</Location>

And configured the app as follows:
Domotics URL: fqdn.com/domoticz
Domoticz port: 443
Secure? Secure

When try to use the app, it appends the port after the /domoticz URI...

Would it be possible to logic to add the port before the first / OR to give an optional URI?

Has anyone heard off the developer?.
Seems the app hasnt been updated in a while and no posts from him either?.

Open the app (first time after boot of phone). Things show up correctly.
Close app by going to homescreen
Open app again: the page that you had open is now white.
You first have to go to a different page and then open the page you want again, otherwise it will stay white.

Some kind of 'reload on bringing back to front' issue

Just updated, but white screen bug is still there. Changelog on app store says that in this update of the app "new devices added".

I just keep hoping that sebas will read this topic again someday and fixes it. The app works great and very fast, but this bugy really annoys me.
Maybe someone that didn't place a review in the appstore yet, can place it, and mention something about the whitescreen bug? Maybe sebas will read that review...

I suppose he knows about this, but probably did not find a solution.
At the other hand it is not such a huge problem, at least not for me.
I am quite pleased he made this app after all and shared it with us.
(It does cost quite a lot of time listening to all the complaints and all the wishes from everybody)

today I got an update. with the comment: added new devices... not knowing which? and still the white screen bug .
but sebas is still alive

When i got lollipop on my mobile, the white screen was gone...

There is yet another new version.. With the same comment: added new devices...
Its a newer version because the update date is 11 may.

Still the white screen bug is there...

How about the geofencing functionality, do I need to keep the Dromotica app open in order to let geofencing work? Or can I close the app and let it work in the background?

The white screen bug is indeed very frustrating...

It seems to be fixed here. Great, i use the app a lot.
Worth the money (you can buy the 'geofencing' option, but i don't use it, my phone doesn't keep it's mobile dataconnection active)

Not sure if sebas read this topic, or because of the review that 'rtna' posted in the appstore :p

Are there more users who've got troubles after the last update ?
I van open the all only ones. If i open it for the 2nd time it crashes instantly.
I allready reinstalled it, but problem still there (Android 5.02)

Yup, same here.
Weather always crashes.

With the latest update from 12 May I still have following issues:
- For thermostats which are showing on the dashboard, the setpoint is still showing white font on a white background, so not readible
- Changing Thermostat temperature via Setpoint doesn't work, whatever I select, it keeps on showing the old temperature
- Setpoint for thermostat is defaulted to 4.5, could we default to current temperature ?
- Why can't I choose 20 degrees Celicius ? I can go from 19.5 to 20.5, but not to 20.0
- When going to dashboard I always get a toast message telling "Thermostat set to 4.578\uooB0" for each thermostat switch, irrespective of the temperature that has been chosen
- Single switch (eg. ON switch) doesn't show the difference between ON or OFF, if the button is in ON or OFF status, it always shows a green button
