Re: Android app
The white screen bug is annoying indeed.
Re: Android app
Totally agree on this one, now i do it by all sorts of JSON command into tasker and using tasker for android wear to get a sort of functioning smart watch with Domoticz connection.Scoobydoo wrote:Android wear support would be an awesome addition. Being able to turn on switches etc from your wear watch would be great.
It's a pain in the ass to configure and if you add a device you always have to add new JSON commands to your tasker and tasker for wear.
I would love to pay for the option

Re: Android app
I'm experiencing some problems with the Dromotica app regarding the Security Panel.
I was always able to switch the security status with the app but since a while it won't work anymore. I'm running V2.2266 currently and I'm not quite sure when/since which version this stopped working (I guess it's a problem in Domoticz?).
The log doesn't show anything when I try to change the security status with the app but when I use the webinterface, it works like it should.
Does anyone experience the same issue of is there a solution perhaps?

Re: Android app
I was wondering when are you planning to release new version with bug fixes for white screen and set point functionality + font colour?
Great work!

Re: Android app
I can't get it to work on my mobile using 3G network. On wifi and 3G using a browser no problems but not the app... I think I got the settings right, anybody an idea ?

Ahhh, got it working... Was an extra space/blanc (STUPID) after my username that made it go wrong...

Re: Android app
Hi,
A lot of posts here so my question have maybe been answer.
I have 2 problems.
1. I'm having problem to connect to my raspberry pi when I'm using a openvpn connection. It works using chrome.
Hard to see what's going wrong in the app, no error just not updating/showing any devices.
I got it to work one time just after I had setup everything.
2. When I select Cameras, should I see a live feed from my camera there?
It works using Chrome on my phone.
TIA
Daniel

Re: Android app
1)
When connected through the OpenVPN network the app doesn't see you are in fact directly connected to the internal network.
(while you are not connected to the wifi network SSID as setup in the parameters)
Therefore the app tries to connect to the external IP of your home router, this ofcourse doesn't work.
This is not an error in the app but very logical.
I would like to see an extra option in the app to add an extra "home" IP for your OpenVPN connection.
Then the app knows it can connect directly to the internal IP of Domoticz.
As a workaround while connected with OpenVPN i connect with a browser to the internal Domoticz IP.
I suggest if possible to have an extra option in the setings.

Re: Android app
Thanks, I removed the wifi SSID restriction and it started to work.Ron wrote:1)

Hello sebas,
Thanks again for this apps and the hard work you put to in it.
Are you still planning to add the possibility to use a client certificate to connect from internet ? It would enable user who think that user/password on internet is not safe enough (like me)to be able to use the apps without having to lunch a VPN
Thank

Re: Android app
You can do that using a ssh tunnel : it can use a certificate, and it's transparent for applications
Re: Android app
Yes but in this case I will have the same pb than varazir and I also will have to open the ssh tunnel before which is way less practical than having the appli user the client certificate to log on domoticz from outside ( I already use the client certificat with a browser and it's very practical)
Re: Android app
Havent seen sebas on the forums for a couple of months, hopefully he is still developing this app.
Re: Android app

Too bad 'sebas' doesn't visit this forum anymore (last seen 26 dec 2014).
I use this app almost daily, but i still encounter the white screen bug which is really annoying.
Symptoms:
Open the app (first time after boot of phone). Things show up correctly.
Close app by going to homescreen
Open app again: the page that you had open is now white.
You first have to go to a different page and then open the page you want again, otherwise it will stay white.
Some kind of 'reload on bringing back to front' issue

Yes, it's very frustrating having the white screen of doom happen all the time.
I had only recently just donated to the maker of the app, it kinda sux if he's not further developing it any more:(
