[Name:] P-G
[Country:] Sweden
[City:] Sollentuna, Stockholm
[Occupation:] Principal Solution Consultant for a Nordic software company in the Service Management arena.
[Hobbies:] Software, Electronics, Classic cars, nice ladies and all things that make life more enjoyable...
[Choice for Domoticz:] Switching from my old unreliable 433 MHz based home automation system (caused mainly by that now severely overcrowded frequency band), I decided to implemented a significantly more reliable Z-Wave solution instead. And as I absolutely wanted a well reknown and totally open solution, Domoticz became the most obvious choice. So that's what I finally opted for.
[My role here?] Well... You're never too old to learn something new every day! And with 40 years in the computer software industry, I might to some extent (hopefully) also be able to contribute.

[Choice for Domoticz:] Tested a lot of commercial products and not overly happy with them. Then tested some open source projects which requried a lot of work to do something very simple... then Domoticz seemed to answer both: simplicity and it actually works pretty well!
[My role here?] Help on what I can and experiment as much as I can, push Domoticz cloud boundaries quietly
