Well, the only thing that DOES work is: they are recognized. Nothing more, nothing less. You can't do anything with it though.

As I said before: Domoticz only recognises them. You can add them, and that's it. There are several topics, threads about it, but no solution yet.

I think the problem is that the API is very limited atm. Maybe Nest will add more features in the API, but at the moment there's nothing you can do with it.

Did anyone try to figure out what is happening during the BLE communication?
just spoof the communication and try to figure out what is happening with wireshark?

In my switch dashboard I see the nest protect switch. I also see a very accurate "last seen" time which comes with the nest switch. This time is accurate by the second, has anybody find out if we can do something with that last seen time?
