I mean the secpanel included in Domoticz (not an an external device) . If you follow this thread http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... 4653#p4463 you will find some more information from "gizmocuz". I guess with your app I can probably achieve the "Arm Away" or "Disarm" functionality. If your app will be used for a secpanel acitivation or deactivation it will be nice to get the message "Disarmed" or "Armed Away" or just read the status.Appesteijn wrote:Thank you, it is nice to hear you like it! I don't have any experience with a securtiy panel, but I'll have a look at it.

Re: Geofence for Domoticz
Running domofence on Android 4.4.2 and 5.0.
On 5.0 its running fine, on 4.4.2 it seems that domofence is closed every time through Android.
When i open the app and pushed the "pin" it works
Are there more who having this issue , or people who can solve this.

So 'listening' for the geofence stops? That should not happen.
I have just installed it on an old device of mine (running 4.4.2) and I'll let you know what happens.

Re: Geofence for Domoticz
Until now I haven't seen anything unusual on my 4.4.2 device.
How do you notice domofence is closed? Does the icon on the 'activate' button changes when you press it?

We had to start domofence by hand , the icon is completely gone.Appesteijn wrote:Until now I haven't seen anything unusual on my 4.4.2 device.

Hmm that is very strange, never heard/noticed that the icon disappears. Do you get notifications when crossing the geofence? Did you try to reinstall the app?thecosmicgate wrote:We had to start domofence by hand , the icon is completely gone.Appesteijn wrote:Until now I haven't seen anything unusual on my 4.4.2 device.

Greets GijsCould you send the crash report through the app? Did you install the gapps package? DomoFence uses Google Play Services for the geofencing.
How do I sent a crash report. I have google play app.

Re: Geofence for Domoticz
Usually when an app crashes, you get the option to 'report' the error. If you do this, I can see the reason of the error (no personal information) and I can investigate it further.domogijs wrote: Sorry for the slow reaction.

Re: Geofence for Domoticz
Thanks Appesteijn for this appli
I installed it 2 days ago and now the outside light swithes on automaticaly arriving home at night. Easy to set-up and easy to use with Domoticz. Well done!!!
Just one remrak for those who want to use it, the Lat & Long must be very precise to make Geofence working good with Domoticz with a small Geofence Radius value. I used Google Maps to find corrersponding values for my house.
Next step is to install this appli on all smartphones. Just need an iOs one for my wife
I know nobody's perfect

Re: Geofence for Domoticz
Still investigating on the different posible ways to use GeoFnce. I wonder if there is possibility to set-up several GeoFences or to have different Radius values to manage actions depending on how far we are from home.
Example:
- Switch heating on when I'm at 2km from home
- Open blinds when I'm at 200m from home
- Open garage door when I'm in front of my house
- etc...
Thanks for feedback
