Seems to be good looking and usable! Two things my family like more than cli to control the house ;)

I have looked at the smart things app a bit and its really nice (in my opinion) :
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/smartth ... 00740?mt=8

For example - really like that it gives some info in the overview. Like when you look at the group "lightswitches" it also says "All lights are off". Nice !

Everyone wants to beta - let us know if there is anything we can do to help you out!

$19.99 for this app and the is no free trial version?!
Why not have an in-app purchase for complete functionality?

I agree it is a little steep, I purchased simply to support a fellow developer and the hope that they won't try and charge in-app purchases moving forward to those of us that have stumped up the full price.

Am I using it on a daily basis? No. The lack of selection options for the widget (i.e choose which switches show on the today screen) and the limited number it can show means I can't get to the scenes I want to toggle. The widgets was the main thing for me, once I've unlocked the iPhone I just use the Domoticz webpp.

Other than the widgets, I don't think this app really provides any groundbreaking functionality that is not already present in Pilot. Even then, they are both just a front end to Domoticz with little to no additional logic, i.e arranging of scenes, switches etc for me the requirements are different on my phone than they are say via the web UI but perhaps that's just me.

Has promise, but right now it doesn't fulfil my needs, hopefully it will in future - it's a good start will continue to follow its progress.

Same for me. I think it it is a bit steep, but i bought in the hopes that it will evolve. The main resson was the widget. Although i would like it to be more dynamic instead of just show the favorite/dashboard switches. I would really like to see an option to choose any sensor/switch/device/temp/utility as a widget.

I am about to launch a new iPhone app for domoticz. It includes stats, today extensions, geofence and some more. I am currently testing in Apple's beta program.
I have no final name, but the working name is 'domotix'. I'd like to gather some more user feedback before launching and therefor invite you to send me a PM.
I'll invite the first 20 interested people for the 'TestFlight'. I will need your email address to invite you, the app requires iOS 8.1 and your domiticz server should be reachable by http, possibly protected by basic auth.

The app is available in EN and NL right now.

regards,
Michael
I think I will not included in the 20 testers. Looking forward for the APP. I use now the other Iphone APP.
Can you support to IPADDRESSES? Is it possible to check the name of the WIFI network and if not connected to the network what is configured as HOME that it will connect to an configured IPADDRESS for access domoticz over the internet?
Ofcourse inlogname, password, secured ssl and a portaddress must be configured :-)

The price is way to high for such an app.

I would be willing to pay that amount if a large portion of the purchase price goes to the development of Domoticz it self.

19.99 is very much for such APP which I can't test first.

I wondering how it works on a iPhone 4 s.
Can I change the brightness and colors for the zipato bulbs.I see the picture but I want to know for sure if it works.

If I can program 2 connection ipaddresses(one local LAN and the other WAN) to the Domotica server and know for sure the above questions works I will buy it.

Yes, I agree, the price is way to high... A 7-day trial would have be good or or in-app purchase.

Currently, I am considering moving to eedomus+ as the domoticz is still no supporting my zwave network as desired. All apps for smartphones are free and I has a have a mix on iOS & Android, I will not pay 19,9 twice !

Anyway, keep on going, the domoticz is promosing...

New iOS App for domoticz

I have the app, i am of the testers, but no way it is worth almost 20 euro's. I told that the developer too. (In its current state it is still beta, almost nothing functions wel on a regular base, ie time-outs when starting the app, or switching lights)
For that there would be a long way co come, like choices for the widget, change the order of the items in the app , lots more of functions, a good dashboard, and a lot more .But I see no development last month on this app, i think its dead already?

For now i can only advise Pilot, that app is way better. (And cost nothing for basic functionality, and the in app purchase is a no brainer too)

Hi all,

I've released a version for testing again. I've added multi-server support, multi-geofence support, and a number of of minor improvements.
I am happy to invite 10 new testers, especially native german and french speaking domoticz users, as I've added FR and DE language support.
And of course people running more than 1 domoticz server.

I'll invite the first 10 interested people for the 'TestFlight'. I will need your email address to invite you, the app requires iOS 8.1 and your domiticz server should be reachable by http, possibly protected by basic auth.

regards,
Michael

How does multiserver support work? Will it try to connect to the next if the first can't be reached?
Then I can use it for inside and outside the local area network (internet and external ip)
