Yes, that sounds real
besides, I hate battery devices, perhaps a better idea to buy some ESP8622's and magnet sensors at Ali, and build it myself.

I just found that the Action in my neighbourhood had some 'Smart LED light strip's from LSC Smart Connect. it shows up on my phone AND I can turn it on/off with a voice command. But.. I must be stupid or something, because I don't get how to add this to Domoticz. Read something about flashing the controller, but no clue on how to do that.

Can someone place a 'for dummies' here ;)

Edit: Found this info:
Warning
As of July 2020 this device comes with a Tuya WB3S module which cannot be flashed with Tasmota.
That module is pin compatible with ESP-12 and can be replaced.

To use the build in IR Receiver connected to GPIO00 as IRrecv (if this cannot be selected under configuration use Tasmota-Sensors.bin) add the following rule via Command Line.
And re-checking the box, I indeed see the 'powered by Tuya'. Does this mean I can't get it to work in Domoticz?

Yes you can, buy a esp-12 chip at ALI (1 Euro) and flash it to Tasmota
They changed the chip, the first LSC's had a ESP-12, and where easy flashable.
You don't want to use the LSC software itself, all your info is going via Chinese sites, pretty unsafe!
flash to Tasmota, on you'r Pi, install mosquito and the domoticz_mqtt_discovery plugin
see:

Not really comforted with doing that. :(

There's also a Wemos D1 mini PCB shield you can buy that has connections for RGBW type strips... Only need to solder on a few transistors, resistors, capacitors and a single voltage regulator. You then stack it on top of the Wemos D1 mini that has Tasmota on it...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/164108808733?ul_noapp=true

I have written a configuration guide of sorts for that combo, if you're interested...

Also a good idea, you can buy a simpel and cheap RGB strip and make a Tasmota of it
:D

Well, that too is way out of my comfort zone. So I guess I better buy some other strips that can be used from the start

Edwin, you can use this plugin for the action stuff.
https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... ya#p252371
I only use the power sockets at the moment but the lights should also work. It is all powered by Tuya, you can even use the Tuya app for the action stuff.

Thanks. This is working for me. Has some problems with adding the lights, but finally it did. :)

I have a LSC Smart Movement Sensor and flashed Tasmota to it.
Now I can't get it to do something in Domoticz.

MQTT is setup and when using weblog 4 I can see messages from my other devices as well so I think that's okay.

I do get these messages as well. Included a command TuyaMCU I enterd in the console

Code: Select all

13:22:35 CMD: TuyaMCU
13:22:35 SRC: WebConsole from 192.168.1.227
13:22:35 CMD: Group 0, Index 1, Command "TUYAMCU", Data ""
13:22:35 MQT: tasmota/tasmota_DCFDCA/stat/RESULT = {"TuyaMCU":[{"fnId":11,"dpId":1}]}
13:22:45 TYA: Send "55aa00000000ff"
13:22:45 {"TuyaReceived":{"Data":"55AA000000010101","Cmnd":0,"CmndData":"01"}}
13:22:45 TYA: Heartbeat
13:22:56 TYA: Send "55aa00000000ff"
13:22:56 {"TuyaReceived":{"Data":"55AA000000010101","Cmnd":0,"CmndData":"01"}}
GPIO1 is Tuya TX 107
GPIO3 is Tuya RX 108

In Domoticz I can switch on and off the Tuya PIR sensor the same way as the Toggle button works, Though still no motion detected communication from the sensor. Also when sensor is triggered it does not toggle the state on the sensors webpage.

What sensor are you using from Action? 2day bought two sensor but can’t flash them...:(

Have both versions, both didn't work because they entered sleep mode during flashing and eventually when keep triggering them it's still not working properly. Gonna buy some zwave or zigbee next.

Have exactly the same issue... thinking of using the IKEA motion sensor. How do you keep your sensors alive (ie not going in sleep mode), will try to give it one more try 2night then and post the outcome.

Hi Guy's,

Do any of you have add the sensors to Tuya or smart life app. If so I would like to receive a json listing of that devices with debug_discovery.py from https://github.com/Xenomes/Domoticz-TUYA-Plugin under tools. I am trying to add more device support to the Tuya Cloud Plugin. if not no problem ;)

Greetings.

Not yet... if I can flash them I will keep them and otherwise return them; I prefer non cloud. But would be gr8 if you can at them and hopefully some can send you the JSON file, might be useful for others!

Not sure if I didn't break both :mrgreen: I'll have a look at them again.
