I was just having a hard time getting my code merged on github, but it has now passed checks and should soon be in the Domoticz beta.

Getting devices added will be much easier if I have the device to test with. Please send me devices for testing :)

This is a wifi device, as the ir gateway, and the rice cooker. Have to spy wifi exchange with device.

And for what to do ? Xiaomi app are pretty good and show you where is your vaccum, how many battery left, how many times take to clean home.
Or when will your rice be ok, app send you a push for this, nothing to do about home automation.

Got a Xiaomi scale, who work on BLE, already hack with some script and BLE dongle but no way to add it Domoticz, what the goal ? Does your home can drive your fridge, and lock the door if needed ?

Hacking Xiaomi mi Flora : ok, home can drive watering, sensor can give temp and lux.

About irgateway : looks ok, if you get some starting kack about it (I read that app isn't stable)

Hi,

Tried to add "Xiaomi Gateway" new hardware item after @corbin contribution (Thanks for your work!), but after naming it and clicking Add, no hardware is added. Only happens with this new Hardware (just added mi Yeelight and it's working).

Nothing appears in log.

It is likely your web browser caching the old files and not retrieving the latest. Empty your browser cache, or try on a browser that hasn't accessed your Domoticz install previously to ensure it gets the fresh files.

I've put basic instructions up on the wiki https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

Domoticz will find wireless switches, motion sensors, and door sensors. It will find power plugs but will not add them correctly just yet.

There is currently no control back to the devices - the first three don't need it. My next step is to add power plugs and be able to control them from Domoticz, as well as control of the gateway functions (light, radio - whatever can be done through the API).

Can't answer about range and battery life, something for you to test!

Before I jump into buying one, I dont see the "Xiaomi Gateway" under Hardware. Will this appear after you registered the gateway, do you need a beta version of Domoticz, or is it something else?

As this support is almost new, maybe you have to wait that people get there device (mine is on the way, once here we can spoke about what is working or not)

What about switch ? How did you manage double click or long click ?

Sawing that rgb led and speaker aren't that easy to drive.

I am hoping there are at least a couple of Domoticz users with this hardware already who can give feedback - so any issues/problem can be addressed before the next release.

The switch is working as a simple on/off toggle. Double and long click can be captured, but I don't know what to send to Domoticz as a result? If you can look at the source and offer a suggestion (or contribute code again) it would be most welcome.

I've also looked into controlling the radio and light on the gateway, but haven't seen a way to control it. The best reference I've got is https://translate.google.com/translate? ... edit-text=

I would really like to use local radio rather than Chinese stations!

Hi, I just installed beta version of Domoticz under Ubuntu.
My Xiaomi gateway is 2nd version and a lots of sensors (magnetic sensors, motion detectors, smart switches, temperature/humidity sensors and etc...). Also I have Yeelight leds and wifi power sockets. The Domoticz has discovered all switches, motion detectors and magnetic sensors but it couldn't find temperature/humidity sensor. In log I found string: XiaomiGateway unhandled model sensor_ht. May be anybody know how to fix it?

Sorry screenshots on russian.
