I currently use AutoVoice and Tasker to achieve this.... I also use this great android app but the main benefit is it works without having open any ups.... The Nexus 5 phone is always listening even with the screen off, so long as it's charging.... So I can shout "OK Google, open the front gate"..... Works really well, although I do wish I didn't have to mention Google every time!

Don't see why you would need access to the source code repository for feature requests... I keep track of the ones that reach me via the forum and via email. I appreciate all the input I get but it's too much to develop in a short period so I need to focus on the features that are usable by many.

Sebas,

First my thanks on the great work done in Dromotica. Just a quick question and probably a silly one but unable to find it anywhere in documentation or forum. How do you configure West longitudes for geofencing? The negative sign from the keyboard is not taken.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Marcelo

Great app!
Only problem for me is the opentherm-gateway thermostat.....
The setpoint is verrrry bad readable, light grey text on white???
I can not set a temp, if I can not choose one.
Plus the temps are all in half degree (e.g. 19.5/20.5/21.5), that's exacly what my Honeywell
don't accept. Maybe steps in full degrees in between?

Hi Sebastiaan,

I love the App a lot! I am, however, also experiencing the 'blank' page issue when returning from an inactive state that was reported by thorbj a couple of weeks ago. It occurs on all my devices with Android 4.4.2, 4.4.4 and 5.0. It would be nice if you could fix it or tell me how to fix it if it is a configuration thing.

Cheers,
Rbmg

I am also encountering the white screen issue. I think this can be solved by implementing a forced refresh on opening of the app

I'm sorry I overlooked the comment on the white screen issue.

I noticed that the app is not updating any more on my tablet. The latest version is 1.5.15. The play store notes that the app is not compatible with my device. Could it be that it requires GPS since the geofencing feature was introduced? My tablet (Colorfly 708 Q2) that is my primary domotica & entertainment control center is WIFI only and lacks GPS. Is it possible to make that requirement optional?

Cheers,

Rbmg

I had this problem to some time ago. I uninstalled the app and installed it again. After that the problem is solved. I have used 1MB in 7 days now.

Hope this will help for you.

Greetings Brutus.

Hi,

Just installed Domoticz and Dromotica.. Works well.. However, I have two issues with Dromotica:

1. Each time I reopen Dromotica (app is running on background), the dashboard stays empty. I have to reselect the dashboard on the left to get data:
Image

2. I connected the OpenTherm Gateway to my Domoticz. However, I can barely read the Setpoint temperatures:
Image
See on the lower right bottom of the screenshot. The menu is also barely readable. This is probably because the fontcolor is white.

Used device:
Nexus 5, android 5.0.
Domoticz running on a raspberry pi, lastest unstable version.

It is already clear that he wan't to keep is closed source, why do you keep asking? There are also serveral ways to report bugs and place feature requests.

Android wear support would be an awesome addition. Being able to turn on switches etc from your wear watch would be great.

I think thatvis something that can be done with the geofencing option in dromotica or an app like tasker.
