Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Is Google bothering us again? All my devices are listed in GH, contlolicz can reach my Domoticz, but GH tells me "I'm sorry, there seems to be an error. I cannot control your home devices"....

Obviously!Madgeni wrote: ↑Thursday 21 December 2017 16:56hah - that is annoying. Not sure I can do much to it, because if i inverted it, then no doubt, it would be the other way for someone else!bldewit wrote: ↑Thursday 21 December 2017 0:05 Hi Madgeni,
It's working better and better for me. There is however one thing: if I want my shutteres closed, I have to say "open shutters" and vice versa. On and Off works fine by the way, where On equals Close I can of course add dummy buttons to reverse this, but that would not be my preferred option. Do you know of a solution to reverse these commands within Google (or domoticz perhaps)?
Thx!
I was thinking more along the lines of a triggerword in the description (similar to the nametags) that could be used to invert the commands. I found that other domotics platforms are dealing with similar problems with Gh and people are even suggesting rewiring their shutters!
Well, dummy-switches it is!

You could give set the type to blinds inverted in domoticz. Then there is no need for dummy switches.bldewit wrote:Obviously!Madgeni wrote: ↑Thursday 21 December 2017 16:56hah - that is annoying. Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hello,
I am very happy with Controlicz. It works like a charm and associating the devices with the rooms helps to make it work smoothly.
I have a question, though. I have added a device yesterday to Domoticz and, after adding it to the roomplan, I cannot access it through Google Home (weither by voice or through the inventory). Have I missed something ?
Regards,
QQ.
