Hi,

Have been running domoticz 4.9700 on ds1813+ (DSM 6.2.1) for long time and works fine except for the errors below when starting.

Starting Domoticz ...
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /lib/modules/usbserial.ko: File exists
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /lib/modules/ftdi_sio.ko: File exists
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /usr/local/domoticz/modules/cp210x.ko: File exists
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /usr/local/domoticz/modules/pl2303.ko: File exists
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /usr/local/domoticz/modules/ch341.ko: File exists
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /usr/local/domoticz/modules/ti_usb_3410_5052.ko: File exists
ln: failed to create symbolic link ‘/lib/udev/rules.d/60-synocommunity.domoticz.rules’: File exists

How do I fix that since cannot use USB/Serial port in domoticz now.

Hi all,

I have Domoticz v3.0.5877-7 up and running on my DS212 (MARVELL Kirkwood 88F6282)
(I think that's the most recent version available for a DS212 - please correct me if I'm wrong)
Frequently the package stops by itself and I have to relaunch it manually from the Package Center.
Is there a way to check logs somewhere on the NAS ? Because I have no clue why it stops all the time for apparently no reason...

PS : I have a RFXCom plugged to my NAS and Domoticz on there to help me automate my blinds

On my Synology system the location of the logfile is defined in

this points to

Bonsoir, j'ai un DS418 et j'avais installé pour faire l'essai du NAS Domoticz via un centre de paquet et tout fonctionnais a la perfection le RFXCOM homebridge etc
j'ai du le réinitialiser pour mettre une plus grosse capacité de disques il a donc fais la dernière mise a jour DSM 6.2.1-23824 update 4 et quand je veux ajouter le centre de paquet "http://jadahl.dscloud.me/sspks/" il me donne un message d'emplacement incorrect

dois je effectuer une installation manuelle?
dois je downgrader ma version de DSM ?

Beta packages is only manual update now. Download and install.
Try to do an update DS418 use arch-rtd1296 packages.

I have a DS212j with DSM 6.2 but on your site I don't see my DS212j in the list of Domoticz version 4.9, is my NAS too old now or can you do some magic?

I'm currently running Domoticz 3.5 so thought it is time for an update

I have to say that this version is running very stable for a few years now, really great. Your work is much appreciated!

Ok thank you! So i should really get a new NAS if i understand correctly :p

The NAS you have is great, but I'm not able to build domoticz for arch-88f6281 anymore.
Keep the NAS and maybe buy a Raspberry Pie to run domoticz on, I think that is much cheaper

I just installed version domoticz_cedarview-6.2_4.0.10327-8.spk on my Syno. After some minutes, it crashes. The previous beta version worked perfect. Would it be possible to download it again so I can downgrade?

You can't downgrade, but you can reinstall.

It's deleted, but if you know what version you had, I can rebuild it for you.
Did you upgrade from a non python version to python version?
What version python 3 did you install before you installed domoticz?

BTW I have the latest beta with python installed and do not have this error...
Check your hardware and plugin script..

I've been running the python version since the last non-beta version with no problems.

Meanwhile, I'm checking the syno config in case I see something changed that could be causing this.

Which plugin script are your referring to?

I don't refer to any specific plugin or script, but it seems that this error you have it's related to a plugin.
Try also to reboot your nas if you not have done that.

I was actually looking into that... and you nailed it. The issue is caused by the Tuya plugin by Tixi. Once I disabled it, domoticz does not crash anymore.
