Hi

Can anybody help me

I m just fresh in the Domoticz story

Install the server on my synology

runs perfect

IP are 192.168.0.116

Https port 8443
http port 8084

I set up a user an password on my server

both work perfect in the browser


Now I like to use the app on my Iphone with are in my home network.

But what ever I add it can not find the server. Not with 8443 or 8084.

What should be in the directory ?

Hi get now at least inside local network a connection.

Server setting
result = ok

But than ?

No button to save or next slide . I can only go back.

How should I go now ?

The directory is for exapmle:
"http://192.168.1.25:8080/domoticz/#/Dashboard"

if this is you rdashboard url, then domoticz is your directory..

Hi! For me over WiFi is not possible interact with home. Only if I disconnected wifi.

I'm new to Domoticz
I run a system on an Raspi3-B with Raspian stretch lite and Razberry z-wave+ device. Switches and door sensors NeoCoolcam
(all latest update/upgrade)
on my Iphone i use the Domoticz app and Prowl for push notification (no problem)
Domoticz works fine except for the Domoticz app
it works oké but the switches and sensors don't toggle right if a sensor switches on. When a switch or sensor is activated by Domoticz the switches keep white instead of green.
in the log it's oké
if i use the switches on the Iphone they do toggle right and very fast
everytime i restart the app it's shows the proper situation
the app shows a good server connection
is this a known issue? hope someone can give me a hint

Hi, I am having a similar issue with the app. It worked well until Xmas, but I updated and now on the server setting I can only input either the external/DNS url OR the local IP/port I have my domoticz. If I add both (with the button "use different address for local connection"), it does not work Any idea why? Is anyone else experiencing the same?

Mine works only if I use username and password in domoticz..

I created a virtual switch in Domoticz.
When i push this switch on my Iphone everything will refresh correctly
It's a temporarily solution, but it works

I do have a question about the notifications. if I send a test notification I will receive it .. but otherwise how is this possible?

I bought it for notification but I don't have any sounds on notifications.

it shoud use the sound settings that all notifications use

Can I test against your system?

New feature in next version is:
Use a different language then the default phone language..
I added that settings on the settings page

I don’t know why but if I use my domoticz system without username and passeord the app give me a connection error (it work for a minute or so and then the error appear) but I found out that if I set user and passwd I can use the app without problem at all.

Can you please indicate what needs to be added to the "Server settings" page, I have a plain setup without password and I try to access from same network but I get the "Error: not connected to network"?

In a browser I connect with https://192.168.1.177/#/Dashboard

I actually got it up and connected now, I see everything that I see in the web interface but here comes a strange thing... I cant use the buttons, meaning I can see the switches and they go to "green" but they don't turn the devices on or off?

Does you account that you use to login have enough rights to flip the switches?
is it an admin account on domoticz?
