Domoticz

Is it possible to have a SPK package for my DS411slim with 6.2 and Python?
in this moment I use old beta for 6.1 with python
domoticz_88f6282-6.1_3.0.9390-7.spk
my arch is
Linux STor 2.6.32.12 #23739 Fri Jun 8 12:47:49 CST 2018 armv5tel GNU/Linux synology_88f6282_411slim

old beta somehow works with my 6.2 installation, but I hope to have newer version...

Hello guys,

I'm quite new in the NAS+Domoticz business ans search for some informations!

As for now, I got an installation with DSM 6.1.6-15266 and Domoticz v3.0.8153.7. My DS213j asks me to upgrade to 6.2-23739-1 and Domoticz to 4.9700

Now my questions :
- As I'm not an DSM/Domoticz pro, is there an How-To for upgrading both?
- Which version of domoticz do I need? the one with Python or the other?
- I read that I need to back up all the files of the packet. Ok but where I can find them? what to backup?
- Can I just upgrade DSM in a first step and if it works.... nice!

I'm on Synology 6.2 and would like to upgrade to Domoticz 4.9700. There doesn't seem to be a link for the Synology 212J on jadahl http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable_6.2/ am i correct and is latest stable version 3.8152?

I decided to test update for DSM and Domoticz. I thought everything works but when I go to log:
I restarted the server and everything came back normal, except one thing : luminosity from gateway doesn't update since that. Any idea to correct it?

Upgraded to a DS1618+ now and can't seem to find a suitable package to download/install.

Can you point me in the right direction?

I have not build domoticz package for DSM6.2 (DS1618+) arch-denverton yet, but I can build a test package for you.
Check back here for a link in an hour.

DS218j is added in DSM6.2 stable packages.
If you want to test beta versions, use arch-armada38x.

Hi, I've got a Synology DS212+ NAS.
I am working to get Domoticz installed on my NAS.
When trying to add a source like "Domoticz Updates" as mentioned before into SETTINGS, as mentioned by Post "by peerv » Sunday 28 June 2015 14:30" I get a reply like: "Invalid location". How can I proceed with the proper installation of Domotocz at my NAS?
I was however able to add the sourse: "http://packages.synocommunity.com/", so that worked well.

Also the 212+ NAS model nr seems to be missing from the DSM6.2 stable list of JADAHL at "http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable_6.2/".
Does this mean I have to use the DSM5.2 version or is there another way around this?
Thx a lot for any assistance I can get.

DS212+ use Marvell Kirkwood 88F6282 and use very old gcc version and old toolchain from synology.
I have stopped building new domoticz version for Marvell Kirkwood 88F6282.
The latest build for DS212+ (DSM6.2) is domoticz_88f6282-6.2_3.0.9483-7.spk

Sorry DS413j use Marvell Kirkwood 88F6282 and have to old toolchain from synology to build the latest domoticz.

What could be the reason?
Do we have to configure somehow Dsm to let Domoticz running?

Hello, nothing special to configure. In your case, it seems that Domoticz crashed for an unknown reason yet. Before restarting Domoticz, take a look in the Domoticz log (with a command like : tail /volume1/@appstore/domoticz/var/domoticz.log). By the way, which version do you use, which plugins, sensors/peripherals, ...

PS: I run Domoticz (a rather old version) for about two years now in a DS216j. Domoticz crashed only ONE time.
