Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Sharing some work in progress (Thanks dannybloe for his very helpful insight).
Screenshot below shows a new interface for switches.

Screenshot below shows a new interface for switches.
- The behaviour remains the same: by clicking a cell, a section appears, letting you switch on/off the device.
- The status label on the right is not a button: you can't directly click on it to trigger a switch on/off.
- Dimmer level is shown in a circular interface.

Looking great! Would it be possible to change the on/off color of the items? Say I have a switch which is on when I'm not at home (my Nest shows "Away" as active in that case). I would like to have this particular switch to behave in reverse, so green when the switch is "Off" instead of "On".

Next update you'll be able to invert the switch toggle with the location services, so that you can *turn off* a device when you get home, and *turn it on* when you leave.
Looks like it could help in your case.
However, I think it would be weird to have "off" devices that have the same color as "on" devices.

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
I am using the testflight version of your great app and since some time (also with the standard appstore version) I can't get acces to my Domoticz server when I am on 3G or a other wifi network. The local settings do work for my local wifi network.
In the log of Domoticz this line is displayed:
Error: Webserver: Failed authentication attempt, ignoring client request (remote addresses: 1.2.3.4.)
But with the same 3G network and iphone I can get access with the web interface of Domoticz with the same credentials?? Any idea?
I am not using https and Domoticz is the latest beta and I am using the basic-auth.

Looks fantastic and works great. Nice to see camera integration. Can you already tell what we could expect in 1.7?

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Great update, almost all my suggestions implemented!
The slider for dimming works very nice now, keep it like that!
Some small bugs:
I would like to see the log-entries (in the category-list), like it is showed in the logscreen in Domoticz.
Great that you have picked up the development again, keep up the good work!

Some small bugs:
- Sliding to the right until the slider turns green (with the checkmark) should only result in sending an "On" command if the current state of the lamp is "Off".
If it is already on please don't send another "On" command because that starts a cycling of the dimming if you have KlikAanKlikUit/CoCo devices (until another "On" command is received). Instead just send a "Dim to 100%" command. - If the lamp is on this can be seen by the Orange highlighting of the dimming %. However if I change the dimming % the Orange marking is changed to Grey suggesting that the lamp is off
- A switch with the type "contact" that is closed should appear grey in the list. If it is open it should be orange. Currently that is just the other way around

Actually, I'm gonna scratch the current implementation of the dimmer for something much betterBikey wrote:Great update, almost all my suggestions implemented!

It's still a work in progress, but thanks to dannybloe I managed to make it even better.

Nice update, thanks! Can't wait for 1.7!
Beside the issues mentioned above, what are the requirements in Domoticz for the camera's? My camera has the status not connected in Pilot, tips? Camera is active and works in Domoticz..

Can you PM me a screenshot of your camera settings? (hide user/pw) + the camera model?

Looks good. Only missing the current setting of the dim value in the overview if you don't touch the slider (in the circle). Just like in the current version.patoo77 wrote: Actually, I'm gonna scratch the current implementation of the dimmer for something much better![]()

How would you turn the lamp on/off, tapping on the circle?

Yeah, one of the changes since the video you just seen is that the circle shows the current percentage instead of on/off.Bikey wrote:Looks good. The circle is readonly. To turn it on, just swipe, or tap on the cell to display the "turn on/turn off" buttons.
