Hello everyone,
Received today the contact door and siren (Neo CoolCam products identified by my controller). They both works great. Include and configuration without any problem. (domoticz beta 6371)
However, I'm a little bit disappointed regarding the volume and quality of the siren. It's a "simple speaker" with 3 different volumes levels. Although low and medium are correct, the high is very like a cheap speaker of a mobile phone at (with more volume of course) with poor sound quality.
I don't have a professional DB meter but with a free app on my android phone (which gives only an indicate value). The max volume reached was 80dB.
Some descriptions for well-known brands like Zipato, the dB from the spec is about 110dB.
So my best advice is to recommend this siren only as a doorbell or feedback sound for some events.

One thing I was wondering about the Power Plug. Inclusion worked without problems and it works very well. Ozw shows it as "always on slave" as expected, but in the topology it does not show to be connected to any other nodes, not even the controller actually. Could there be something wrong with it even though it operates otherwise as expected? Wondering this mainly from the viewpoint if I order a few more and place them on locations where I'd need to extend the mesh network...

After reading this thread i decided to order some Coolcam PIR's, but I seem to have a problem with them i haven't heard anyone about yet.
It works fine for a couple of days or hours. Then all of a sudden after each OFF command immediately it sends an ON command. Even if there is no movement at all. Even if no-one is home! this can go on for a couple of hours or just for a short period.
The image below shows the strange log.
Off commands followed By On commands.
I have this problem with all 3 Pir's. Am I doing something wrong? The only setting I changed is the Off delay. But 1 other Pir where I dint even change that also has the problem.
Anyone with a similar problem or a solution?

Just included one to my zwave network, running the latest Domoticz beta with Aeotect Gen5 z-wave usb stick. Not having exactly the same issue, but either there's been unwanted visitors at my house or the default settings are extremely sensitive to any movement. Let's see, have not been able to change the parameters yet (even when manually waking the device up first). Maybe it takes very long?
Also, the lux was reported once at inclusion but nothing since then (6 hours). The lighting conditions have changed considerably during this time. Is there something to be done to get it working?

This plug:

is very bad quality...
and the vendor is defective. My plus is down after 3 weeks and the seller refuses to change the plug...
I opened the plug and the quality of the electronics is very poor. It was not surprising that the life span was very short. The switching power supply is too rustic and does not work long ...
The vendor:

here: (french forum) There are several users of this plug that have the same problem ...

There may be a true meaning for the advertised "Professional quality": That's a product for... electronics repair professionals!

What was it switching, a washing machine or boiler? Could it be that the load was too big?

I had a similar problem. Plug started smoking.
Reason was a spring (backside of blue cover) inside that keeps the openings of the plug closed.
The spring was completely burned. I removed it and now the plug is working as normal...
I suppose the protection is to prevent dust to get inside.
If there is a device in the plug, I think it can't do any harm to leave the spring/protection out.
Recently I discovered a 'new' supplier: Hank.

Anyone with feedback on their products?
