For those who are interested in the road map for the MyDomoticz service: Meanwhile we have been working on the next version.
Even though we don't have a target date of when it will be ready, here's a list of the new features so far, besides bug fixes:
- captcha
- beter unique api / instance id handling
- angular based
- more info on administration pages
- file manager for third party remoticz providers
- able to bind to more network interfaces at once
- display memory and cpu usage
- json interface for statistics
- invalid login timed restriction (token bucket filter)
- oauth for app support
- domoticz's can connect via websockets (so possible to connect via a web proxy)
- websocket proxy support (to support Websockets-refactored branch)
- using cryptopp library instead of mcrypt (so it can compile on windows)
- sending emails via smtp instead of sendmail (for windows compatibility)
- mysql error display in log files
- able to change encryption keys
- option "downformaintenance" added
- most daemon settings in sql table instead of ini file, being able to change on-the-fly

Hello,
I have made the registration but very odd is can not find the Mydomotiz settings item to fill in the API code.
Do I need an separate versions op Domoticz? Or just being blind?
Regards,
Har

If you go to the settings page of your Domoticz, it should be on the bottom right.

It should be solved when the next beta goes live. Meanwhile, you can pm me with your api key.
Since there are so many changes in the new beta, we only want to put it online after we've made sure there will be no new issues.

Any idea?
Sorry for getting back on this so late. The root cause of this has been isolated and will be pushed to the Domoticz repository at the same time with some other small improvements, concerning reconnections.

Same problema
Enter your api data to your own Domoticz in order to use this service
And in the log
PROXY: Authenticate result: wrong password for apikey/instanceid combination.
Ah, before that I log in another instance, with another name .... from then I can't connect!!!
And how could I delete my account on mydomoticz and delete my actual instanceid?

I fixed the issue by deleting de instanceid from the domoticz.db. After this action I got a new instance and now I can connect from out my local net.
But.... the connection fails and then I need to log two or three times in my domoticz for get a valid connection with my domoticz.
I get the icon green and I can click it, then it looks like was triyng to connect but I get just an empty dachboard.
Thanks

Yeah, that's one work-around. Yesterday there might have been some interruptions in the service. And today as well. Stay tuned for an update in my next post.

As promised, an update.
We're testing the new domoproxy version online now. A lot of parts have completely rewritten from scratch.
It's been tested locally, but since it's > 90 K lines of code and heavily multi-threaded, some things (like deadlocks that can occur) can only be tested under load.
So I ask you people to be patient these next few days, and do feel free to test everything.
At times, the old domoproxy had > 500 concurrent Domoticz connections. Probably a lot of these are now trying to reconnect but cannot due to a boo-boo in the proxy client code (I'm working on that at the same time).
So if you get the chance and you see your Domoticz as a red icon in MyDomoticz when it shouldn't, could you please restart your Domoticz?
TIA,
Rene

it seems that i forgot my password as i kept getting invalid login, so after a password reset, i re-enabled 2FA and again i got invalid login, i thought maybe i had the password wrong so i tried twice more and each time i enable 2FA it tells me i invalid login and will not allow me to login.
each time a password reset allows me to login and see my instance and access but as soon as 2FA enabled then i lose access.

But do you enter a 2fa code in the login page? What app do you use for the 2fa code generation?

yes, i scan the code, it creates a new entry in the app (
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/otp-aut ... 7384?mt=8) and then i log out, enter username and password plus the OTP code and get invalid login.
I also tried it in another program on my mac and i get the same codes as the phone but still get the same error.
i should also tell you that this app worked prior to today and i had no issues with the codes

Thanks for spotting this! You caught us a bug. A patch has been made and will be live in about 30 minutes.

I've freshly installed domoticz but mydomoticz disconnects on regular bases and fails to reconnect (it requires a restart).
Also it's not accessible troughth domoticz mobile.
Is there a fix for this two issues?

Make that field empty instead of "none".
Apologies, that is another quirk that needs to be changed in order to make it clearer.
