Yes and no.... If you can solder, and know what you are doing you can replace it with the same type.

It's the green blobby thing. Normally they are self resetting fuses. So if something is short circuit they will reset after some time.

But I don't take any responsibility if something goes wrong.

I have now several NEO products in my system. there all working fine, exept one "the alarm unit" (http://www.szneo.com/en/products/show.php?id=194) i cannot set any parameters. i think it is not reconised by open Z-wave.
What do i have to do to set the Parameters?

Really don't understand all the fuzz of the ground pin... Looks well to me.
Well that the insurance won't pay when you burn you're house down...

But no fuse? Really?
FYI: the ground pin has nothing to do with fire-risks.

And talking about insurance: I am in doubt your own insurance will be paying when you burn your house down after posting your pictures of your home safety situation:

No I am not a seller ...... just BS-allergic

It was a reference to the fuse, not the ground... and somebody was kind enough to give more information about it.

Why are you a seller? or NOT a seller? And in what relation is this comment related to me? I could care less if you are a seller or not

I think the bullshit you referring to is your own. You assume that photo is from my home, you assume something about a seller which has no reference to me at all, you assume I was referring to the ground instead of the fuse, you assume I have insurance... you probably assume I am male. Assumptions are the veil which keeps the truth for you.

But nice of the positive critiqued and feedback on my most excellent cheap belgium mysensors product!
https://github.com/Tristan79/Vento

And safety issues you can post in the issues....

arsehole

btw that later is not an assumption, just an observation.

could you please take this discussion somewhere else, or preferably, just stop it. It's childish.

The seller assumption was from a post before where a "kind" fellow user accused me being a seller ;)

You also assume. There is no discussion with "The Seller", you need two open minds for that, and one of those is missing.
And please play dad to someone else, or preferably, just stop it. It's foolish.

*sign*

An aggressive teardown, misinformation about fuses, random user accusation about sellers...
So I find this funny after scrolling through this thread:

Fibaro track record of burning z-wave power plugs and dimmers...

Then don't buy these stuff. This topic was created (yes, by me) to provide information on chinese made stuff. No, I'm really not a seller, even a reseller, etc. I understand you have doubts, also your finding is important - one can decide whether to buy or not to buy these things. Let"s get this topic back on track - maybe one should create a subtopic on safety issues, worries, findings - it would be good to have that IMHO.

This thread is so much fun: First I get used as a scapegoat, for someone grudge out of nowhere, belittle for commenting on it, now you preaching to the wrong person about doubts and sellers and buying.

The only doubt I have is that someone reading this thread is none the wiser in the end. If you want to get on topic please give a summarization! And filter out the bullshit info from the real info.

And please ask a moderator to edit this thread and let 'em remove all this negative bullshit... That how you get on topic. ;)

My 50 cents as I like this topic where we show each other how to build/buy champagne sensors for lemonade money.

Most Neo Coolcam devices do work with domoticz and are even being sold here in the Netherlands by a Dutch company at a price slightly higher then on aliexpress . (10 euros higher)

Being sold here I think should mean they pass the CE checkmark (not the China Export). As they are being sold here me as a consumer should consider them safe.

Doing your own import has the potential danger of buying Chinese copies of devices that don't meet CE.

How about that for summary :)

Also you can get a rebranded - but clearly Neo stuff, namely the door sensor - at amazon.de (as far as I remember it's Cyrus or something like that).

I notice the power plugs don't work with my fridge and oven. Anyone know why not? Can not find a max Wattage. Although my fridge will not need much. The dryer is working fine...

That's quoting from an unverified source. According to the box max is 12A (i am a bit rusty, correct me if I am wrong, but that makes it at 230V: 2760 Watt)
