Yes, that too! Although I have some trouble figuring out the best way to implement it. Might have to do several notifications centers.

rgroothuis wrote:No that is not exactly what I mean. When I'm having a phone call and I leave home, Pilot detects that I'm leaving home and tries to update Domoticz. As I'm on a phone call there is no data connection, in other words Pilot cannot set the Phone@Home status in Domoticz. This is a pity as I'm having some scripts running to disable lights etc when I'm leaving home (while making a phone call), these lights are now on for longer then necessary.
It would be grate if Pilot tries it a couple of times (configurable) to update the status in Domiticz after it failed to update. This will make the user scenarios more robust.
Secondly it would be great if a certain intervals (configurable) Pilot checks if the status according to Pilot is the same as in Domoticz. I assume that Pilot checks the location regularly to verify if it is already within the at home range. When the check is done it would be good to verify if that location status is also set (the same) in Domoticz.
Both items are closely linked to each other and maybe can be the same solution/implementation. My view would be that this would make the total system more robust and my lights would not stay on the for the rest of the day until I'm at home again.
Thanks.
OK I understand! Since you're on the phone, you have no DATA coverage, so your phone can't send the signal to your Domoticz server.
Might be able to implement some sort of "retry" when the sending fails. Good idea
Will try to get it done for 1.5 release

Indeed that is the idea. Thanks. Let me know when it is available so that I can test it.

1.4.0 released in the Appstore
Is it possible to make the last update visible when you click a sensor in the list? At this moment there are less sensors on the page, 9 in the new version versus 13 in the old one. Or smaller text (dynamic maybe)?

Thanks for the updated release, looking good and seems to be working.
One question and one comment:
Question: how does the dimming work? I can slide to the right but it is unclear how to set the dimming value.
Comments, see screenshot, it is unclear which lamp is switch on and which one is switch off. In the picture there is one lamp off and two on. Can you queues which one? I think some GUI improvements is still required.

I have uploaded a new version 1.4.1 because I broke something quite important: when you tap on a device, it should display several controls... However it doesn't work at the moment. >_> Hopefully will be online by tomorrow.
About your suggestion, I will take a look at it for 1.5 release.

Thanks again for your quick response. And sorry for causing the extra work. The location service feature is something that I really like about your APP. Thanks.

Feedback is very important to me, so I should thank you

I can give you early access to 1.5 in a few days if you want to beta-test it!

1.4.1 is released in the appstore, brings back the standard device controls (by tapping on a device).
Please let me know if you run into any issues

Uhm... the app has the French language now.. Also noticed the update resets the geofence range and local server settings.
Thanks!

Hi patoo77,
Thanks for fixing the issue, I've upgraded and still see a challenge to control my dimmers (Philips Hue). When I want to slide the dimmer bar to the right then the whole block moves to the left and the green box appears on the left. So I cannot slide the dimmer bar. Or am I doing something wrong?

Ok I
think the idea is that the dimming level depends on how far you slide the whole block to the right, even without first tapping the control to open it (showing the slider). If you watch the green bar you can see it being "filled" depending how far you move it, indicating someway the dimming level (suggestion: show a percentage in the green block).
That is a nice innovative way for a controling a dimmer! Unfortunately it only works half of the time and it is impossible to get the lamp up to 100%....
Also the slider is totally useless and confusing if this concept actually works, so could be removed imho.
Currently the slider does work, but only if you touch it very precisely or you will move the complete block.

Yeah, you guessed it right lol
Always thought it would be a good idea to control dimming devices with a swipe rather than a slider control. However it doesn't seem to work that well :/
Could you send me some screenshots showing the issues you're getting with Philips Hue?
TBH I don't have any dimming device, so it's always been hard to test it :/

There is not much to see in screenshots: both with Hue Lights and with RFXCOM KaKu dimmable devices I have the same issue: changing the dimming value with the slider, or by "swiping" does not work. As soon as you release the slider/block, the dimming value lamp seems to be set to a random value: sometimes it stays at the old value, sometimes a random other value. Impossible to set it to 0% or 100% however. Only switching on/off works.
Oh, and also the interface is in French instead of English

It might be possible to use a virtual device

Yeah, it works just fine with virtual devices ^^
Actual dimming devices can work a bit differently

Can you please try disable and enable location services? That might fix your problem.
As for French translation, English will come back in version 1.4.2 (online this weekend).

Awsome support, great app! Love it!
Will try, i got "error sending command to server" but I can trigger switches from the app ok.
I dont really understand the settings so i might have done something wrong... changed some now and will try again.
Thank you! Great work!!!
