I am referring to domoticz beta (build 15555), not the app. There were changes to domoticz beta on thermostats so possibly this results in stopping the thermostat function in the app.

Yet another breaking change?
Do you know what is changing in the API and dzVents? I looked at the code but I'm not familiar with c++.

It could be an unexpected side effect in changing the thermostat into a general setpoint device (usable for all kind of applications, not only temperature).

Do I have to Update domoticz? I'm still on 2022/1 and way older on my second system.
The Apps aren't working anymore. Both Apps, domoticz and the tasker Plugin don't Show anything...

Yes, an update came out and everything was working!
But after a day or two, the developer released another update, I updated and the EVENTS stopped working again right after this update!
I hope the developer check and wait for a new update.
Anyone, have the same problem?

My setpoint also stopped working, but it is still working on the WebUI (Running build 15643).
So for now, my conclusion should be that it is the app that needs an update, right ?
Being able to use the setpoint on the mobile app is one of the major functionality for mee.
Any thoughts on when this can be fixed ?

I've just become aware of the new Domoticz app with subscription model - I understand the rationale, even as someone who previously bought the one-time premium upgrade. In principle, I'm happy to pay £4.99/year for a well-supported app, however there is one key question that I need answering before I take the plunge - hopefully the dev or a current user can confirm...
A key use case for me is using the Domoticz app on multiple devices (each househod member's phone) to trigger presence switches in Domoticz based on geofences, wifi connection, etc. This includes, me, my wife and children's phones (using child Google accounts).
As a side note, this functionailty now seems to be broken in the old Domoticz Premium app - whilst I can get into the settings areas:
- The first switch in geofence menu won't stay on - there is a modal window
about location usage but whether you tap yes or no, same effect
- There is no + button in the wifi menu
I'm happy to pay one subscription for the family altogether, but not going to stump up per-device. Can anyone elaborate on how the subscription model works, and whether it can be:
- Shared via the Google family library
- If not, used on multiple devices using the same account logged into Google Play
- Any other way to share the subscription on multiple devices that have different primary Google accounts?
For the middle option above, this could well be a problem with the child accouts, because if memory serves me correctly, I can't have an adult and child account on the same phone at the same time.
Anyone shed any light on this?
EDIT: Having searched around a bit, I suspect the old domoticz premium paid version WAS sharable in family library, but can't find anything to confirm or deny if the new subscription model also sharable.

Hello, I understand what you are asking! I am also a user of the domoticz premium app and would also like to know if the annual subscription has good support. Because the purchased premium domoticz still doesn't work as previously reported, events, geo, etc. It doesn't work like it used to!!! I would like and hope that the developer paid some attention to these cases and made a correction to the app with a brief update. And let's wait for a response from the developer.

Will be ever fixed this bug ?
Even the geo location feture isn' t working. It' imposible to enable on android on pixel 7A. The slide go back after trying to enable

Install new update! But still the same.
After update, wen i open app for the first time, events works and i fill great seen.
But wen i close the app and open again, events dont work anymore again!!! Lets wait again if developer work on this bug.

I use
wireguard as vpn on my raspberry to connect to my domoticz server from the internet.
I first have to start the wireguard vpn app on my android phone before i can use the app to control my devices.
Im using the domoticz premium beta app version 0.2.369 (9432)
Is there a build option in the app that can do this for me?
connect vpn then connect to domoticz server.
use the app with vpn up and running.
and when i close the app it closes the vpn connection

I'm using the Domoticz app as well. For Geofence however I did use Life360. This plugin is not maintained anymore. Based on Life360 integration, I've created a new plugin (see

The app used for this plugin is GPSLogger (see
https://gpslogger.app), however other GPS logging apps can be used as well. In fact the most important prerequisite is that the app is able to share location data via the Domoticz API on regular basis. GPSLogger is able to run in background and is open source.
The home location is identified by the location setup in Domoticz. A fence around the home location determines how Home is identified. For example a circle of 100 meters around the address Coolsingel 40, Rotterdam, the Netherlands (latitude 51.922710 and longitude 4.479160).

Is there any chance to fix the bug regarding the somfy blinds not working in the app? It is working on domoticz website and old android app.
