Hi,

I have installed a Blind and a Sunscreen with both Brel motors according to your explanation.
This works, but the RfxTrx433XL only transmits the open, close, stop commands.
the Switch (blinds) in Domoticz does not know that the Blind/Sunscreen are for example "closed" with the original remotes.
Is there another way to figure out what the status of the Motor is? So I could also set the Domoticz Blind Switch to the proper setting?

Greetzzz,

Gerben

Add the RFXtrx433E as second remote in the motor.

To add a second remote:
Press the P2 button twice on the Brel remote ==> 2 beeps
Transmit a confirm command with the RFXtrx433E ==> 5 beeps

See also the Brel user guide how to add a second remote.

Receive of Brel (BlindsT6) is supported by Domoticz when using Pro1, Pro2 and ProXL1 firmware.
See also chapter 2.2.2 in the RFXtrx User Guide!

If you use the correct firmware and Domoticz versions, enabled the right protocols and it does not operate contact support rfxcom.com

Hi,

I also have new blinds, seems to be a BREL curtain.
I have a 433E RFXCOM, which firmware and protocols to I need to enable in Domoticz (4.10915)
I don't seem to get it to work just yet.

Use Pro1 firmware.
Enable BlindsT1-4. In the latest RFXmngr enable BlindsTx

Ok. Thx. I will try that tomorrow.

Basically that worked. Domoticz received the blinds commands from the remote and the blinds can be operated bij Domoticz now.

However, Since I started with different firmwares yesterday, my Oregon Scientific temp sensors do not work anymore.
Any clues where to look?

Check if the Oregon protocol is enabled.

If it does not operate contact support rfxcom.

Protocol is enabled. Strangest thing. I replaced batteries in the one I knew was empty and that one works....

Never mind. Stupid me. For some reason the hideki protocol was switched off. Thx.

Hey; I recently got a venetian blind from the Toppoint brand. with an OTE 12 remote controlled motor
A remote control of the Brel DD-2702H is included.
I would like to link the blind to my domoticz system, but unfortunately I did not succeed.
I have already tried the method as described by Chucky elsewhere in this forum, unfortunately this does not work for me.
Does anyone know a solution to my problem?

Raspberrypi
Rfxcom

Sorry, Brel DD2702H is bi-directional and is not supported.

Hi, I'm following this thread with much interest. I have a solar powered Brel BLE35-10 blind motor (rolluik) and a Brel DD-2723 multichanel remote. I want to operate the blind with my DOmoticz system without loosing the ability to operate also with the remote.

I've read that RFXcom does not work with bi-directional setting. I can program the motor as mono-directional conform the manual, but what is the main difference between both settings?

Is the Brel USB-controller (for example https://www.rolluik-motor.nl/index.php? ... uct_id=307) an option to use in combination with Domoticz, as substitude for the RFXCom?

I wrote this plugin to operate coulisse motion blinds using their usb bridge. Brel, Coulisse Motion and others seem to be based on the same Dooya platform, so I think the plugin should also work for Brel. It’s bidirectional and you can still operate the blinds with the original remote. Domoticz will show the new position when you do.

Hello,
am I correct those Brel blinds work on RF433.925? when I look up the Brel website I see their transmitters are RF433.925.
The reason I am asking, is this: I have a roller blind now RF433.925 (I overlooked the 5) but since I did not get it working and realized I have an old RFXcom transceiver, I might have to upgrade to an XL model right? On the XL model, I don't see RF433.935 in the specs, but apparently, it does work with the right settings for blinds.
Maybe someone can enlighten me on this, thank you in advance!

Bi-directional Brel is not yet supported. The RFXtrx433 supports only ASK while the new Brel motors use encrypted FSK.

OK thank you, I will have to try this. I have the Motion blinds of Coulisse (Hornbach) Upgrading to a 433XL won't hurt anyway. Will what it does or not and post it when I know.
