Add-on to my previous post :
I've checked the 6144 and 8000 ports and they are opened, but not the 8080

I have the same problem. Ports are opened, but I can't still access Domoticz from internet.

If your Router supports this functionality, I would recommend to set up a VPN.
With the VPN you "dial in" to your home network and if you're connected you can use it as you were at home without forwarding ports for everyone.

How about Weaved? https://www.weaved.com/pricing/

I have also been using VPN, I have SoftEther (https://www.softether.org/) set up on my Raspberry. But it's not that easy, as you need to have dynamic DNS set up, and you need to open up the ports required by the VPN protocol in your router and set up port forwarding for them. And on Linux, you need to manually set up a TUN device, or otherwise you can access all other devices in your network, except the one running SoftEther.

And now when I have actually tried weaved.com, I can only recommend it. Given that you trust a cloud provider...

You really only need to register to weaved.com, and install & configure the weaved software on Raspberry. After that you can access your Domoticz easily through the weaved.com portal, using https (and yes, Domoticz will still just run http on port 8080). No hassle with dynamic dns, firewall holes, routing, https certificates etc.
