Maybe better to select one of the supported sensors.
Cheap sensors are not always the best, see for example the WS1200 which does not have a checksum and reports sometimes incorrect values.
Other criteria: transmit range, battery life, accuracy, availability

I know :)

Wasn't quite looking for the best sensor, more for the cheap ones. I am going to use the http://www.homewizard.nl/smartwares-dra ... kraan.html parts to set the temp and was wanting to use the cheap sensors to get some averages.

Any, relatively, cheap sensor you recommend?

Alas, sold out.

They are for home use, so small and hid able would be nice.

Have you made any progress on this?

I found this: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... nix#p31474

And this: http://sourceforge.net/p/domoticz/code/ ... paign=Code

So it seems there is some support for Imagintronix. But i don't know for which device(s).

The supported Imagintronix (Opus XT300) sensor is the soil moisture sensor.

The 433mHz transmitter has a written http://www.hh.com SL-TX583 text on it. It seems that the pilight does support it. The have reverse engineered the code, so maybe RFXcom has to put less effort in it to add it to the RFXtrxCOM.

We can hope. But the RFX developer told me he is quite busy atm.

It's been a while, and I just found the set of sensors in the bottom of a box again. Anyone have any luck with these? Since they seem to be the standard kind that I can get on the various Chinese sites, it seems that have become more common.

Didn't work out of the box with the 248 FirmWare for me though.

I have bought some of these too, curious to hear if someone was able to connect them to an RFXcom

Anyone get these to work? I have one, enabled all protocols in the end with no success.
