Hi, can i use this plugin to notify tasker to launch an app in android?
I would like to click a physical button connected to domoticz and this should open a camera app on my andoid tablet.
You can do this with Tasker and Autoremote, I do this already.
Bought this plugin, and it should be able to do the same. Domoticz event triggers tasker via the Domoticz app and the plug-in. Haven't tried it yet however
Thanks @wimmme, I tried autoremote but it require connection to their server to operate, I want to have direct connection only. were you able to do that with autoremote?
I think I"ll give the domoticz tasker plugin a try then... see if it does what I need

Indeed, Autoremote relies on GMS, as a standard behaviour that is. It should be possible to use it local too, but i don't have a need for that (
https://forum.joaoapps.com/index.php?th ... evices.30/) .
I do like the idea to have entry-level interaction between the Domoticz app and tasker too, without having to code and intercept messages etc ...

OK - I just installed the plugin, took me a bit of time to find the options but it works almost perfectly. I actually got what I want and can open the tablet screen and show the camera app by pressing a zigbee button connected to domoticz through conbee
One bug I found is that I"m using a multiple selection switch - I configured it to respond to the first button click, but it actually works for the second button click. can this be fixed?

So your using an Tasker event with a connected Selector? And you've set the value that you like to receive as the input event right?

Correct.
say I have a selector button with 4 options: off, B1, B2, B3
I setup the plugin to listen to the selector button, and choose B1 as the value to listen on.
what actually happens, is that the event works if I press B2, and not B1.
if I choose "off", then it will work on B1 press as B1 comes after "off"

Is it possible that you have the off button hidden as setting on the selector in domoticz.. i found that the issue was for selectors with that setting ticked..
Im pushing a fix

Actually, i have one more problem. I noticed that I get the notification about 1-10 seconds after I generate the event in domoticz (I press a physical button). is there a timeout setting I can set to shorten the time?
at most I can live with 1-2 seconds delay, otherwise it becomes quite unusable..
I dont know if its something inside Tasker, or because of the way the plugin listen to events. I tried just generating a test message in tasker - and I can see the delay time varies - are you polling for events every few seconds?

Oef websockets are real time. so it should be real time..
Maybe Tasker doesn't run the QueryReceiver, or a background process is killed by battery optimalization....

Hi
I installed the plug-in and I'm trying to make it work with Macrodroid.
So far it works fine with regular switch (On/Off), but i have problems to make it work with selector switches.
I select the switch, choose "selector values" and the action is saved, but it does not work.
Am i missing something specific for setting up a selector switch?

Hi,
I just downloaded the plugin and inserted all the data for the server
It detects the server and devices and reports 207 devices found, then noting.... I've waited several minutes, but nothing happens and I am not able to see any of the other screens I saw when I purchased it in the play store.
Furthermore, the plugin is not shown in Tasker.
Obviously something is not going as it showld, but I have no clue what..
Is there anyone who could help me?
Update: rebooten die the trick... nog visible in tasker

Hi,
I'm struggeling with one issue with the websocket Connection.
If my phone changed the Connection from WiFi to Mobile or back to WiFi the Websocket Connection do not refresh. I have to run Tasker an save a Task or something else without a change. After saving the Websocket disconnect and connect again. Does somebody know a solution?

Hello @galadril.
Is the tasker plugin and it's "listening server" are not based on Firebase Cloud messenging ?
I wanted to build a wall Domotic Tablet I have bought a Amazon Fire HD 10, which does not support Fire Cloud messenging... ==> I cant have the Doorbell app to natively pop-up when riging .... Except I the taskger plugin allow me to open the doorbell app in fullscreen when ringing (I already have the Doorbell event in DZ).
Am I knocking a the right place ?

Hello @Galadril,
It seems the "on Switch Changed" event is not detected anymore, it seems to have worked previously...
I am using Tasker 6.1.32
What did I missed ?
