Bought this plugin, and it should be able to do the same. Domoticz event triggers tasker via the Domoticz app and the plug-in. Haven't tried it yet however

Thanks @wimmme, I tried autoremote but it require connection to their server to operate, I want to have direct connection only. were you able to do that with autoremote?
I think I"ll give the domoticz tasker plugin a try then... see if it does what I need

Indeed, Autoremote relies on GMS, as a standard behaviour that is. It should be possible to use it local too, but i don't have a need for that (https://forum.joaoapps.com/index.php?th ... evices.30/) .
I do like the idea to have entry-level interaction between the Domoticz app and tasker too, without having to code and intercept messages etc ...

at most I can live with 1-2 seconds delay, otherwise it becomes quite unusable..

I dont know if its something inside Tasker, or because of the way the plugin listen to events. I tried just generating a test message in tasker - and I can see the delay time varies - are you polling for events every few seconds?
