Ah thanks mate! :D Pretty glad to see the location feature used by someone other than I!
What do you mean by actions and notifications?

I have a few features coming for version 1.1, but I am always listening for new use cases.
Basically, tell me what you're trying to achieve and I'll see how that can be implemented.

Domoticz can send notifications true different clients like Prowl client.
The notifications can be defined in "events" like: send me a message when alarm is enabled.

Domoticz has even build in messages. When you open a switch or something like that in the web interface you can enable notifications.

By actions i mend simple events. Example: on sunrise enable switch. Don't even know if this is possible.

Like earlier posts: Camera live-feed and grouping of devices are a big plus.

You wanna let know what the release notes are for v1.1? ;-)

Maybe idea to let users donate for R&D (research & development ...?

I agree with the other posts, this is my wish list:

- Notifications
- Group by room
- Some kind of dashboard (Weather, selected devices, look at Fibaro for example: http://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Purple4/v ... 0x480.jpeg)
- View cameras
- iPad Landscape mode

Hi,
Wow ! :D Good job, beautifull designed app (native ios 7 ), very reactive !
For me, design in home automation is important and pilot is what i was expecting in this sense

Here is what i expect for features :

- Make groups
- Hide some devices

Later :
- Native Ipad app with dashboard

I'll buy full app in order to activate localisation feature.

Found a little Bug :
if i tap a sensor (e.g RAM Raspberry pi), there is no actions possible, all is OK. Then, if I tap a Somfy RFY Device, I have 3 actions possible : down, stop, up, all is OK
But if i tap again a sensor (e.g RAM Raspberry pi), the actions possibles are RFY (down, stop, up), there should be no actions...

Long life to this app !! :D :D

About notifications, I see what you mean. I think it would be very difficult to do, it requires having access to the core Domoticz code, and that is not something I have the ability to do. I will check if it is possible to retrieve prowl/pushover/email notifications and send them to Pilot, but I don't think it is the most efficient way to do it.

As for actions, you can already trigger a switch on sunrise/sunset in your Domoticz control panel. I try as much as possible not to overlap with existing features. However, if any other kind of action is interesting to implement (like the location services), I could look into it. :)

Changelog for version 1.1 is not defined yet.

You wanna donate for R&D? No problem there, you got my email on the app website
On a more serious note, donations might be a good way to let people participate in app's feedback and future features. So yeah, why not :)

-> Notifications, alrdy answered.
-> Grouping: will be in version 1.1
-> A proper dashboard would be useful for an iPad app. So that should come in the long term. :)
-> Cameras: I would love to test it out, unfortunately I don't have a camera. Anyone know if it is possible to use some kind of virtual camera? If so, link would be nice :)

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions, I will look into it.

I also found that bug a few days ago, it will be fixed in the incoming 1.0.1 version. ;)
If still bugged after that, please let me know.

Nice app! And a lot faster than the cached web page on my iPhone!! Great work!
But I have a question, is it possible to open the favorites tab on start up?
Most of the times I want to switch on/off lights, and not interested in other information like CPU, MEM and disk %

And also, maybe think about the in app purchase of the location feature.
I can accomplish the same wit the free geofancy app.

Create 2 virtual switches. Phone 1 flips switch 1, phone 2 flips switch 2.

What to do when one (or both) phones are 'home' or 'away', needs to be done in Domoticz using LUA or Blockly.

You will be able to open the last used screen in version 1.1

As for the in-app purchase, I had to choose between making free+inapp vs paid app.
Since Domoticz is open-source and free by itself, it made more sense to make a basic version for free. However I really hope people realize that getting the paid app is a little cost for many benefits. For now you can only use the location feature, but other features will come very soon: controlling your dim-able devices, reordering, and a lot more. The free app will still also keep getting new features.

Geofancy is a very nicely done app! It lets you do the same, that's for sure. However, Pilot is custom-tailored FOR Domoticz. All you gotta do is enter your own information (virtual device + home location), and you're done. :)

Thanks Dynamic, that's exactly how it's done. I actually made it work at home, I can share it with you guys when I get home (in a few days).

Basically, I did the following:
- Pilot installed on every phone
- Every phone is linked to a proper virtual switch
- Blocky script: When one of the 2 phones gets home, if there was no phone home before, I trigger a "welcome home" event.
- Blocky script: If one of the phone leaves home, I check if there is another phone is home.
- If yes, nothing happens
- If not, I trigger a "close home" event.

That way I can handle 2 phones! It's a bit trickier than with one phone, but it works just fine once it's all setup! ;)

Don't worry, must be a bug/typo. If the App Store upgraded your app to 1.0.1, you're good to go. ;)

That's weird.

Is that the only thing not working? Are you having any other issues? Could help me figure out what is wrong. Maybe try going into your server settings and validate them again. Or switch on/off your location feature...

If it still doesn't work, let me know ;)

So it's working again? Maybe you didn't have any network coverage, or something went wrong in the app... Let me know when this happens again.
