Okay,

It is difficult to connect bulbs to Zigate. Have 2 bulbs and the E1743 remote connected with status UNKNOW and heath Live. When I reset it is the same, device is being added but status unkown. Devices are not controlable with domoticz as I dont have widgets.

Please do restart the pluginn in order to clean the plugin DB. If you have a device with Status UNKNOWN you cannot re-pair it until it is removed from teh DB

Hi! Still no luck with connecting my 2 GU10 bulbs (LED1837R5) and the dimmer E1743. When I reset the bulbs and try to reconnect it always fails. Since I removed the widgets from domoticz I was never able to reconnect them.

Try to connect them one by one ( after a restart of the plugin )

A other E27 Ikea bulb was joining fine this week. I think I have done something wrong with the GU10 bulbs. These bulbs were joined to Zigate but stopped working for some reason. I removed them from domoticz and they never connected without these problems.

From the logs, the Device is not responding at all to plugin request, this is why it is going to timeout.
On one side, the device is paired with Zigate , as we have communication, but on the other side, the device do not respond.

You may try the following:
0- If you are on beta, make sure to get the latest version
1- UnPlug/Plug the Zigate for 1 minutes
2- Do a Soft Reset of Zigate (this is done via the Web Admin -> Admin -> Zigate ). Make sure that Channel in setting is set to the current channel use by Zigate, otherwise if you have 0, after the Soft Reset you might be on an other channel

If those 2 steps are still failing, I do not see any other alternative than ErasePDM of Zigate and redo the pairing of all devices.

This is working. Both bulbs are connected to Zigate and controlable in domoticz. Now I have to join the remote (square dimmer E1743). When I press the connect button, there is nothing happening. Even when I reset the remote by pressing 5 times the connect button. Zigate does not see it? When I join the remote to the bulb the connection between zigate and bulb is lost. That is normal behavoir so I need to connect the dimmer to zigate. Do you have tips?

For the square switch the process should be

1 enable group ( from plugin admin)
2 enable ‘create group 0000’
3 restart plugin
4 put the zigate in pairing mode
5 click 4 times on the pairing button of the switch on it’s back
6 make your bulbs you want to be control by the switch , part of group 0000 ) via group management )

This is what I have done (with help of you and your new wiki):

Enable groups and zigatePartOfGroup0000
restart plugin and zigate in pairing mode

1. Bring all bulbs to zigate
2. Bring remote to zigate by clicking 4 times at connect button, I have turned off (no power) all the ikea bulbs to be sure
3. Turn bulbs on and connect remote to all bulbs
4. restart plugin
5. wait untill the groups are scanned, and they appear in the group management!

Hi guys,

I'm following your guide to pair E1743 switch, so far I've done:
1. Running Domoticz stable 2020.2, Plugin: 4.8.035, Firmware: 031c
2. Switched to Zigate beta branch by running git checkout beta
3. Git pull
4. Selected Create Group 0000 in advanced Zigate setting
5. Selected Enable Groups in Zigate settings
6. Restarted the plugin
7. Got stuck with the following errors popping up every 3 seconds in Domoticz Log:
