What if you have the same error message (Error: XiaomiGateway: received data from unregisted gateway!) and already updated the firmware during the installation procedure?

How do I enable the LAN control? And what about port 9898 that is disabled in this new version?

When I open the Xiaomi app on my iPhone I see no devices in the new Xiaomi Gateway. Do I have to manually add all of them or should they automatically be added?

Three questions I have and I can't find the answer to......

Enable LAN control is done in the app on your phone.
open the app, go to the gateway yo want (click on it).
Hit more operations in the pop-up.
click on the 3 dots in the right-upper corner
there you should have 3 options, of which the middle one should be Wireless communication protocol.
select this and there you can switch it on (remember to write down the password shown on that page, you need it afterwards when connecting to the GW.)

about port 9898...
if you have a v2 version 99% sure this port is closed.
only way to open it is to follow the instructions on this page (https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/xiaomi_aqara), the last part of the page.
Did it already 2 times on 2 gateways and worked immediately.

And yes, you need to add devices to the GW manually.
there is no "discover and add all" function.
