Homey slaat geen gebruikersdata op in de cloud.
Wel kan de cloud gebruikt worden om buitenshuis apparatuur te bedienen die normaal gesproken alleen in je eigen woning te bedienen zou zoals zoals 446 Mhz, bluetooth (nog niet actief) en infrarood apparatuur. Gebruikersdata die gebruikt worden voor bijvoorbeeld de "inzichten" worden lokaal opgeslagen.
Dit zeggen ze bij Homey hierover:

Jouw data is jouw data.
Al je data wordt lokaal opgeslagen, en wordt niet gedeeld met ons of een andere partij.
Gewoon omdat het jouw data is, niet de onze.

Homey does not store user data in the cloud.
However, the cloud can be used when your'e outdoors and want to control equipment which normally only operate in your own home like as 446 MHz, Bluetooth and infrared equipment. User data that is used for your own "knowledge" are stored locally.
This is what they say at Homey commented:

All your data is stored locally and is not shared with us or any other party.
Just because it's your data, not ours.
