On the remote I see color up & down, can we specify an rgb value through rfxcom?

Definitely very interesting. Since I'm rather clueless on led lightning what other components should I order on dx?

Not from what I've seen. The LWRF RGB LED support is the same as what the LWRF RGB remote provides which is, colour and subcolour selection and automatic cycling. No direct colour selection.

The RGB LED driver can only be switched ON/OFF.
It has no color selection but a color cycle with only a few colors.

The MDREMOTE is a one color LED driver.

Some other RGB LED drivers will be tested soon and hopefully with color selection.

RFXtrx433 Type1 version 71 can control these dx.com RGB modules:

This one has a learn option and any ID can be used: http://dx.com/p/rf-remote-touch-rgb-controller-130913

This one has a fixed ID and the ID of the remote must be used: http://dx.com/p/wireless-touch-panel-re ... ight-67412
Use Type2 firmware to receive the remote ID

I have a few of these at home to, can they be added to domoticz, if so, how do i figure out id/unit code if they are lightwave devices?

I've got hold of 2 of these lovely MDRemote dimmers, and they're absolutely tiny and nice

I've been able to grab their codes using the display undecoded feature of my RFXCom, but I'm wondering how to get Domoticz to control them. Is there a place that I can plug the ID into so that it will control the unit?

I've bought one of these devices, and they work fine in the RFXManager.
Is there anyway to add these devices in Domoticz?

Just ordered my first RGB 3028 led strip.

As a lot of DX items described in this topic are sold out , what RGB controller should I buy to use the strip in Domoticz and my trusty RFXCom ??

Quick silly question!

I bought the DX.COM TRC02 remote (with 3 batteries) - I am trying to learn the ID of the remote. Can I do this inside Domoticz or do I need to use other software?

beware: some new TRC02 models have again another protocol implemented by our Chinese friends. This version is not working.
