I'm running beta 3.7969 and dzVents is not integrated in my system (raspberry 3). The path structure is existing, but in the domoticz settings/others there is no dzVents...

In the events-section there is also no LUA-dzVents...

Yeah. I'm sorry to say the for now we had to revert the pull-request. It turned out that on certain Pi's it crashed with a segmentation fault. We missed that one completely and we are now working on a fix.

Must be really hard to account/test for all the different domoticz environments.
Patiently waiting for 2.0, while continuing to figure stuff out on 1.1.

A new pull-requet is waiting to be merged. This time it runs properly (linux, mac, windows). Stay tuned....

Can i use the examples in the dzvents map?

I did try the simple start script genric.lua
Did change the config ip and rename it.
Set the generic into the scripts foldet in the Dzvent folder.
Set a switch [ copy/paste ]
Only i see no: hey .... in my log.

So where do i go wrong?

In Version: 3.8000 there seems to be a permission problem.
I can't make any changes to any files in the scripts/dzVents directory
I tried to edit a file, wont save changes. Also can't rename, delete or create a file.

I can make changes fine in scripts/lua/scripts or scripts/lua/dzVents

I am using cyberduck on a mac, but it has been working fine for me.

Any idea when the pull request is going to be honoured? Looks like its being hold for several commits now.

Will try this scripts.. my blockley's canot handle the option i need.

When my solar panels deliver back between x and y and switch A is off.
Turn switch A on.
Els if switch A off

And other type of scripts is higher math..
So i set all my money on dzvents...
...

You can run dzvents but you need to use the github version. Not the one included woth domoticz. That one doesnt work. Yet.

And the github version is 1.1. But hopefylly giz pulls my request soon.

The harder part with this is you need something to transfer the files from your PC to whatever runs domoicz. Winscp will work to transfer from a PC to a Pi.

It's possible you need a (free) github account to be able to vote. But I'm not sure.

I did have to make an account there, but it was easy. Just need to verify email on new account before you can vote.

Glad to inform ye all that as of v3.8023+ dzVents 2.0 has now successfully been integrated.

Again, please check the release notes and the migration instructions for previous version-users as there are a couple of minor changes that may break.

I'm running this integration in production for a while and must say that it works like a charm. Using Domoticz' internal web-editor is quite simple now. Simply switch to dzVents mode and you're good to go.

I'm planning to make a couple of screen recordings in the coming days to help you all get started if reading the (quite extensive) documentation is too much of a hassle. The docs are quite extensive but don't let that scare you off. I've tried to make it easy to read with plenty examples.

I'm not seeing v3.8023 for Raspberry so guess I have to wait a little bit longer

v3.8023+ means everything higher or equal to 3.8023 . So, just grab 3.8024. But tomorrow it may be 3.8025

Yeah got that but Raspberry is still on 3.8015, nothing higher so...waiting!!!
