any idea when its ready for us to use?

Perhaps a stupid question and i do not want to claim a thing...!!

Only is there perhaps a tablet option in the new outlook?
So it is customizable for a tablet screen?
Like some of the projects here, dashticz or new frontage.

Or is it like the old outlook, static?
And only a mobile option...

Looks very nice. Is it also possible to use the Font Awesome icons?

@derek - This new theme is more responsive and should work better on tablets. For example, it will show a two-column layout at certain screen sizes.
@janjansen - Maybe. To protect privacy I tried not to load any external resources. Some work to be done here actually: Domoticz currently contacts every eternal service when you load it.
@bikey - A universal search bar has not been made, but themes will now be able to incorporate their own javascript functions. So it would be relatively easy to make this now. What will also help is that all items now have nice CSS classes, so you can more easily target them through, for example, jQuery.


Currently this is the plan:
- Gizmocus will create a new beta-version with the two new themes. The new Default theme is a little more ‘conservative’ on new features, while the “Feynman” theme will offer everything I created. In theory this may have already happened this weekend.
- After the initial merging we will continue work on a theme-settings system. This is why the new default was delayed a bit. For now we’re leaving this out, but I'd like to finish this.

If you want to try/test it already:

1. Download the zip file here (green button):
https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/tree/GuiWork/

2. As a user on your server, replace the WWW folder in your Domoticz folder with the one from the zip file.

3. Clear your browser cache.

If something somehow goes wrong, just restart the Domoticz installation and choose the update option.

I`ve tried to test it but i see barely difference.. only some slight changes in the options menu. Is there some theme i have to choose?

@domotibart: that's the Feynman theme. If you want the dark theme, switch to the 'default' theme.

Great Job! But couple questions.
Why only first row has big icons? Why I can't see such a nice graphs on Temp/Utility sensors? What's wrong with temperature tab? What should I do to combine items into one 'grouped item'?

Sorry I prefer the existing Domoticz theme... please make sure we can continue to use it once this new theme is available.
