The Ch340 does not need the anti reset modification..
Log in to you NAS with ssh or Telnet and type: dmesg
you should have some output on ch341 like this:
[ 120.600809] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial
[ 121.050817] usbcore: registered new interface driver ch341
[ 121.056450] usbserial: USB Serial support registered for ch341-uart
[ 121.062865] ch341 6-2:1.0: ch341-uart converter detected
[ 121.083617] usb 6-2: ch341-uart converter now attached to ttyUSB0

@veteiks
Yes, but I was interested in the:
[ 68.210778] ch341 2-1:1.0: ch341-uart converter detected
[ 68.239893] usb 2-1: ch341-uart converter now attached to ttyUSB0
and i the drivers seems to be ok.
Have you tested the RFLink on a another device?
Did you program the RFLink on a windows pc and confirmed that the software is in place?

i uploaded firmware to rflink with windows pc via rflink loader, after upload i turn on serial port logging:
20;00;Nodo RadioFrequencyLink - RFLink Gateway V1.1 - R45;
20;01;MiLight=OFF;NO NRF24L01;
10;version;

@veteiks
I have not tested my synology with serial port logging, but you can always test to disable serial port logging and see if that helps.

When you activate serial port logging in RFLink Loader it is only active until the next reboot.

I'm having issues with the RFLink board as well - where do I enable serial logging and how can I see the serial communications?

I figured out I also have problems with /usr/syno/sbin/synousbmodemd
Domoticz first opens the serial port and then synousbmodemd seems to claim it - I now manually kill the process every reboot but how do I disable it?

Last week i bought an "RFLink - all in one package" for the Synology DS216 at nodo-shop.nl.
However, problems with operating the KAKU devices. Regular timeout notifications.
This package included an original (Made in Italy) Arduino Mega with amtel serial chip. Now I replaced these with an aliexpress cloon with a CH340 serial chip and did not see the error message anymore.
It seems like that amtelchip i.c.m. The Synology is not going well.

Issue at my parents house DS211 DSM 5.2 (so no more Jadahl updates unfortunately).
This Synology and Domoticz Stable have been running for over a year without problems.
SInce last 2 weeks... Lights did not turn on. Restarted Synology and Domoticz package (both).
Code: Select all

The Arduino mega has a CH340.
Code: Select all

[ 149.430000] usb 1-1.3: ch341-uart converter now attached to ttyUSB0
[ 149.440000] usbcore: registered new interface driver ch341
If I just go to settings hardware.. select rflink (v46) and press update it will run for a while.
