Well actually i also have some zero values like you do, except for the return water temperature; that one shows an actual value. On top of that I have to deal with another lttle issue; cause when I got home from work I noticed all the OTGW devices in red state. The running log of Domoticz showed me an "end of file" error, don't know where that comes from, but after a restart of the TPlink and the start of the ser2net process things started to work again. Maybe some log which is enabled or so? So still stuff to do I guess
I flashed version 4.0.1 in my OTGW
Cheers
Hi Sjonnie.
Did you know that the TP Link suffers from an USB issue.
It will stop working if you don't connect OTGW via a HUB.
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr703n
"USB 2.0 port (High-Speed only, use an external High-Speed hub for Full/Low-Speed devices)"
This one will work
http://www.bol.com/nl/p/belkin-usb-2-0- ... 012517293/ however it seems the price exploded 4 times since I bought it.
It can be fixed by brewing your own build of open-wrt, or DISABLE the Wireless functionality that will also work.
I tested the last solution several months with my smartmeter (also USB) and a friend of mine who had to use the wireless functionality had to build his own open-wrt. That also solved the issue.
Good luck.
Ok, i will look into this. The OTGW package had an usb hub included but I thought i only needed to connect the otwg so no need for it. I will try this tonight and also have to make ser2net auto starting.
Thanks for your suggestions and solutions
Regards
John

A well if you didn't use the HUB..... & didn't disable WIFI within TP-Link I'lll bet that is causing your problem.
You'll be a happy man tomorrow.

Hello
I wanted to let you know that everything is working fine now.
I included the USB hub and used the Lan interface instead of the WIFI option. Now Domoticz keeps polling the Opentherm Gateway. I do keep seeing the "end of file" error in the log but I think that is due to the fact that the polling cycle has ended. Other devices get polled then and after that the connection to OpenWRT is re-established and new polling cycle start. Like so:

Thanks again for your great help and support!!
Best Regards
John

You mean a TP-Link 703 using WIFI and a dropping USB connection without a low-speed USB-Hub ?

A well a different solution. GOOD to know.
Are you using an USB-Hub as mentioned here:
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr703n (currently down).
Reboot shouldn't be necessary

I simply need this?
http://www.opentherm-gateway.com/openth ... t-lan.html
I can use a tablet/phone with domoticz to control temperature and set program?

Any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Thx!
How did you guys flash it to 4.0? When i do that i keep getting: Click program to download the firmware and then please manually reset the opentherm gateway.... no idea but removing power doesnt do anything?! i get could not switch gateway to self-programming mode over and over...
plus i keep getting can not find channel named sock468 over and over in a popup..

Connect OTGW directly to USB port of windows machine and use the tool to flash the latest firmware.
http://otgw.tclcode.com/download.html
http://otgw.tclcode.com/download/otmonitor.exe
If it is unable to reboot itself remove 220v cable. Leave it for a few seconds and reconnect.
It will start flashing the latest firmware

I srsly dont get it, how do you connect it with USB by using opentherm monitor tool? under connect i see only COM1 and TCP Connection.
When i plug in the USB in the pc it says installing device, but when i choose COM1 in connection again nothing happens, and there is no COM3 to select like in the attachment below.
If i now try the firmware upgrade it says once again, please manually reset the opentherm gateway, i unplug the power cord, and put it back in (5 secs later), still nothing: Could not switch gateway to self programming mode.
Niks anders dan problemen met dit ding helaas
Zie in Windows bij hardware ook dit als ik usb inprik:

Mmm
- Remove all Com ports from windows device manager
- Restart computer
- Check available COM ports
- Plugin OTGW via USB
- See what Comport is added. If none you have to install the driver.
- Start OTMonitor
- Connect via the new Comport.
- Do you now actually receive data?
- If so flashing should be possible exactly as you described FLASH, remove power cord, attach power cord.
http://otgw.tclcode.com/otmonitor.html#upgrade
http://otgw.tclcode.com/download.html
If no COM port is added we might have to download some additional drivers.

Tried what you suggested, removed all com ports in Windows, then restart... again the same Prolific USB-to-serial thing shows up under devices when i plug in the otgw.
There is no driver on the otmonitor page, out of ideas here. What is also strange if you ask me is that it shows up with and without pluggin in the 230v power.
Under hardware properties of this COM3 device i see:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
A device which does not exist was specified.
Update, for those running windows 8.1 and have same problem, try this:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 34f8137645
I got the device working now i see over 22 devices in Domoticz all for opentherm gateway. How can i now best add all this and make domoticz a thermostat so it does things when for example temperature goes below xx?

Great you got it working.
Driver including Windows 8 warning
http://www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProdu ... 25&pcid=41
Windows 8/8.1 are NOT supported in PL-2303HXA and PL-2303X EOL chip versions
Now the fun part starts.
Not do disappoint you.
IMO Domoticz is not optimized to be a thermostat. It can read the values perfectly.
Draw nice graphs however the rest you have to build yourself in event or LUAs

For now im gonna keep using my Toon Thermostat instead of this, atm its a bit to difficult/complicated for me to make this work as its own thermostat plus Toon can communicate with domoticz fine.

@ gizmocuz
Did you already started with the thermostat overview?
Also as already some people requested before is it possible to add a +/- button in order to change the temprature?
Last question i have is if it's possible to use blocky for scheduling as i tested this but nothing happened when trying to change the control setpoint.

Honeywell has a new system for heating systems:
http://www.evohome.info/nl/
Each room can have it's own radiator controller:
https://products.ecc.emea.honeywell.com ... _hr92.html
Is it possible to connect Domoticz with these controllers? And let Domoticz control the temperature in the entire house?

Not yet, but i think you can now control the setpoint from lua
commandArray['UpdateDevice'] = '2161|0|22.3'
where 2161 is your setpoint
(From version #2063+)

For now i created a few scene buttons which send a HTTP command to set the desired temperature, these i then can use in blocky.
What does |0|22.3 mean behind the setpoint, also is 22.3 not the setpoint?

22.3 is the setpoint, see the wiki about events:
