hey madgeni,

wrote you yesterday a PM but here the bugs i found for everyone:
- My Onkyo AVR Volume Slider -> Type: Light/Switch, Dimmer from 0% to 100% is not controlable. Google just response with: I dont know how to help blah blah

- I think your implementation of scenes/groups are not complete. I just can turn on groups but not off. So i think groups are used as scenes in your implementation.

Thank you for your good work!
Maybe you can publish your code on github like the alexa skill, that other people (as i did before) can help to develop.

I do have an issue now with some lights.
In my office i have one light that is switched on with coco switch on 433mhz
And i have 2 milight lights RGBWW.
If i look at the device added to home control the icons for the coco light is a light bulb and the 2 from milight are show as a switch.
If i ask google to turn on the light in the office it will only turn on the coco light and not the milight ones
But if i look at he milight RGBWW light in the kitchen is shows as a light bulb so it a bit mixed

try now..?
query something to refresh the devices first.

And already found what the problem was.
With the milight i have set the icon to a custom one and not as a light bulb.
Did change this back and now it works.
So maybe have a look at that it will also work with cutom icons

Edit: Relink the action did the trick
What do i need to query to refresh the devices? Got a few new devices in my room plans but they are not in my home list

Edit 2: Volume slider is working now as well. In general Google is kind of annoying with the answers... If i tell google to set the volume to 30 i get the answer: "yeah sure, the light volume will be set to 30"

Any chance to avoid those dumb answers?

Thanks for your quick fixes!

google's rediscovery is rubbish, and un-user-friendly, there's no in-app refresh per se, so i've built it into the Query intent. So, to refresh your devices, just query one of them :)

Loving the beta so far! Sent you some coins to help with the costs. :D

A question! My xiaomi temperature sensors don't seem to be found by the app.
Anything I can do to help with this?

Is it possible in the future to support mediaplayers (like Kodi)?

And did you make any progress with Google on accepting your skill?

Hey - thanks Freakshock, really appreciate it :)
ok, that's odd, can you PM me your email address, and i'll take a look.

re: Entertainment, Google haven't extended this into entertainment devices - yet. It took Amazon quite a while to do that. As soon as it does, then i'll look at it :)

I nudged them this morning, so hopefully i'll get some update next week

I think selector switches dont work correct as well at the moment. I got a selector switch with all my avr channels but i cant set them via "set channels to x" or set channels to x%" like i did with alexa. Do i sth wrong or is it not possible for the moment :)?

I have been using Controlicz for almost a week now, and everything is still working like it should. On/off, changing colors and dimming the lights (8 milight lights). More light are on the way.

is there already a way to send message to the home with broadcast?
it can be done over the app if you type it in but would be nice if some rings the door bell the home says "get up and open the door"
