In my domoticz : type=0000, id=0000

Which method you used for include ? (double click?)
Which version of domoticz ?
Some changes in manufacturer_specific.xml?

Xiaomi's one isn't zwave ! But zigbee

Xiaomi doesn't provid any API (except for yeelight), got some Xiaomi product, they only spoke to Xiaomi products.

For zigbee : you need a zigbee dongle, and except for zigbee light (hue, orsam, new ikea bulb) each compagny can't provid is own protocole, without any openning obligation.

That mean that you have to made your own Rflink Zigbee like and hack each compagny protocole (they don't share it because they want to be apple homekit compatible who ask for kind of : your with me, not with other)

Only i do not understand what you are say about the Zigbee....

Domoticz accept a lot of protocols...
Only not zigbee.[ i buy a usb stick that is not the problem ]
I the Zigbee not good/stable enough for Domoticz?

The inclusion mode is irrelevant, you cab do it by hand or from ozw panel - the result will be the same.

You will never get support for this device. Either Xenon (the manufacturer) used counterfeit z-wave chips for their devices, or they have bad engineers and didn't bother setting a unique id. (I'm guessing the first - they don't have any z-wave alliance certificate). The guys behind openzwave clarified they won't support xenon products, because they don't want to risk a lawsuit by Sigma Designs (the company producing z-wave chipsets).

But the good news is that domoticz recognised your device (at least partly). What you don't and won't get is the parameter fields. As I mentioned before, you can use the sensor, as you should have at least 4 new devices on the not used devices tab. You only have to guess which one is the open/close.

Xiaomi is not into z-wave. You should never trust aliexpress desciptions, or at least do a google or visit the official websitr of the manufacturer. Also, the frequency mentioned on your screenshot is not for EU - but it's irrelevant since Xiaomi is using either zigbee or a propietary format (which is not open sourced).

My advice: save your money and buy something really supported by Domoticz.

I've been busy with the 'NEO Coolcam motion sensor' PIR.

I now have a new XML file which can modify all the parameters correctly, there were some mistakes in the current XML file, but also incorrect parameters in the manual of the device itself!

I can confirm now a correct working of this PIR with domoticz. Unfortunately battery level returned seems to be incorrect*

*maybe it's resetted to >100 after factory reset of the PIR?

Anyways, where can I share my XML file and discuss open issues with this Neo coolcam PIR in combination with domoticz?

You have merge it into openzwave's github. Make sure to read the howto, though.

There's no such thing, but in brief: Neo Coolcam products are fine, but Xenon's not. You can find more info in this topic on each device, though ;)

Perhaps something, for this topic?
Dear Derik,

Please, please read before post. The photo clearly states it's a zigbee device, which is not zwave at all. Also, study the description and visit the manufacturer's website.

Aliexpress' keywords are not the best, also our chinese friends write everything they can think of :D

Hmm... the same for me, I also tried to set 12 and 14 instead of 2 and 4 which the sensor takes.. only not seeing any difference in sensitivity.

For parameter 9. Basic Set Level: (lux) (huidig: 100)
It looks like it doesn't accept any other value than 100.. which is to much for my situations.

Any one else have the same?
If so we can better start a new topic for this..
