how do you make IFTTT return a custom answer back to Google Home (like a temperature or a device state) ???
Use the Domoticz dom... Just Google Domoticz iftt return temperature for instance. If this is too difficult, stick with this solution.
you mean all the solutions that kills GH music every time you ask for a temperature ? no, thanks. the reason I liked Controlicz (and previously HA-Bridge for switches) so much was because it interacts nicely with GH and don't use the "casting workaround". please stop comparing Controlicz with IFTTT

I don't see the problem to pay 20 for this service honestly... Servers cost! Moreover the support given is fast and features implemented ASAP so i'm Happy to pay, the price is fine for me. If he has requested 50 for year, o similar, i'm with you but 20 is honest.

All, the billing page is now available, but I won't enforce subscriptions until Friday.

100% free not necessary for me. I'm ready to pay some comparable subscription fare.
Controlicz is awesome service, but 2 Euros It's too much, I think.
It's more expensive than my Google Music plan costs, so...

If you read the posts above you would see it's €2 / month or €20 a year

Here €2 seems almost free and Google Play Music is €11 / month in the UK

Hey Madgeni: found another issue as i switched my alexa to controlicz as well. The Onky Volume dimmer is not working (worked on the open source version). I cant set the volume percentage as it is detected as a Light/Switch and not as dimmer.
Also my ceiling Fan is not working with alexa (Detected as series). Cant set the three states (selector switch) nor on or off

Hehehe, stop asking for temperatures all the time. I get a notification on telegram when temperatures in certain rooms go over or below certain thresholds. That's when I take action. It's like asking whether your house is on fire. I prefer getting notified when the house is on fire instead of asking it all the time....data is nice, but information is useful. Iftt is a great alternative. Disclaimer: I really like controlicz, not for its functionality but since it integrates so easy and is easy to maintain. Please sto being stubborn and stop asking what the temperature is all the time... What would you do with this data anyway.

Just tried: "Hey Google, What's the living room temperature" and the reply was: "It's currently 24.5°" which is correct.

Correct, Just the reported temperature. (I think it's rounded to the nearest 0.5°)

Edit: Just tried a couple of other rooms to check the rounding and then Google read out 12 of my temperature sensors one after another, this seems to be reliably triggered by asking "What's the temperature in Mum's Room", Also I think I've only got 3 sensors in room plans for Controlicz.

Further to my previous post about Google reporting a whole list of temperatures. It is saying the temperatures of TRVs and thermostats as well as temperature sensors in the form: "It's currently xx.x°, It's currently xx.x°, It's currently xx.x°, etc

yes, annoyingly, it works for thermostats, but breaks sensors..so back it goes. Google are releasing sensors soon, i'm working on them in advance of that.

I have had a lot of feedback recently about payments, and people asking for Paypal.
I am more than happy to implement a method that best helps you all, however my current payment provider doesn't integrate with Paypal, so I can do one of two things (As I see it).
I can refund you all, postpone subscriptions for a few days whilst I work on the Paypal integration, and then re-open billing, and people will have a clean choice between card or paypal
I can continue, those of you who have paid are fine, I create another integration via Paypal for those of you who want to to use Paypal. This will involve duplicating effort on my part, and will delay those wishing to use Paypal.

Thoughts?
