Yeah, I submitted them into github a month ago :D

I'm interested by the power plug and the flood sensor.
Did someone already bought the flood sensor ?
Is it supported by domoticz/OpenZwave ?

If other devices are zwave+, flood sensor should be too.
nmaster,
Did you receive your floodsensor already ?I tested the floodsensor today a its working fine.

Does anyone know's how to get new Zwave devices supported in Domoticz ? Or is it already supportes in the latest Domoticz version ?

Hi westd001, no I steel waiting for it.

LouiS22 explained me that to be fully supported, we need to create a xml file and put it in domoticz.

Sensor properties are here: http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/960

But I didn't tried for now.

I'll look at it when I'll get my sensor.

It's not that hard. First you should read the detailed howto at openzwave's github, then study the pepperdb provided above (that's the one you really need). Or inspect one ofe the other xmls already at the github repo. Finally, you have to provide your xml into the ozw repository. Trust me, you can quickly learn it (I did it so I know :) ).

(I have gone through the whole thread, but I just need a few clarifications - as I am planning to order - motion, powerPlug, door and flood )
Hi,
1. Do these work in UK? (presuming if EU is supported, the same frequency should work in UK as well?)

PowerPlugs:
2.DO they have a powerPlug pin that supports UK? (without requiring european-to-UK adapter) ?
3. Are there any issues with the power-plug? Do you reliably get usage/Watts?

Motion:
4. Does this provide temperature as well?
5. What parameters do you get aside to Motion? (for ex: in Fibaro - you get "Motion, Temp and lux")
6. For example to know the device is alive, in case of fibaro, you could set temp/lux reporting, so you know the device is still alive on network(even if motion is not detected for days)
7. Any issues in detecting motion noticed?

Door & Flood
8. Any known issues?
9. Any parameter to provide status/i'm alive message with these sensors?

thanks.

Hi,

While the frequency is the same for UK, I haven't seen UK pin power plugs, but drop a line to Neo Coolcam (they respond fast).

Power plug: No issues at all (there's no color ring like Fibaro, just a bright green one).

Door sensor: no issues at all (I'm not sure about the system alive, but I think it's in).

Motion & flood - don't have them :(

Motion sensor is working very well, only thing I don't know yet is when a Lux level change is send...

I finally got a flood sensor and a wall plug.

I just created xml file for flood sensor, everything seems to work well.

Where should I send the conf files to get support integrated in domoticz ?

For power plug, I have an issue: Voltage reported is very high: between 248 and 252 volts.

I have a APC UPS integrated in my domoticz system reporting between 234 and 236 votls for years.

Does someone get same kind of reports from the wall plug ?

I just received my Neo CoolCam Power plug 12A and it works with domoticz however when I press the on button on the device itself domoticz does not get notified that the switch is on. After about a minute the device status gets updated. Anyone got an idea why this is taking so long. I also have a greenwave power plug and that one updates instantly when I press the physical on button.

Hi lapoor, I just make the test on my wall plug. It takes about 5 seconds to update the switch status in domoticz when I press the plusg button itselfs.

Yes, they're in the beta. But you can always check available xmls 1. on openzwave github 2. on domoticz github.

LouiS22 wrote:So, I just received my first chinese Z-wave door sensor (http://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Xenon-Z-w ... 94521.html).

Of course it's not recognized by OZW, it's Sigma Designs Unknown: type=0003, id=0001, but it's a minor issue, as from the generated 4 devices (Alarm Type, Alarm Level, Access Control and Sensor) I could easily picked Sensor for the Open/Close state - and it's working without issues. The devices itself is rather bulky (note, it needs 2xAAA batteries) and there's a red led signaling the status change (one flash only). There's chinese and english manual attached, but no batteries, and a two tapes to attach the sensor to its final resting place :D According to the manual, one should get some screws as well, but it's missing from mine. One observation: the magnet seems very strong, so it certainly not needs to be placed next to each other to get contact like other door sensors.
Is it recognized by Domoticz?
Its detected as Uknown device in hardware tab and no new devices :(
(Domoticz Version 3.4834)
Some modifications in manufacturer_specific.xml needed?

Many thanks for help!

It's recognised, you can get the state, but otherwise no support from OZW - and it never will, since they don't want a lawsuit from Sigma Designs. My advice: if the open/close state is what you need - then you're set, and you can use the device. If not - then choose some other brand.

Turns out they hijacked someone else's id so no xml for the door sensors. That's why I could not find them...

Indeed. But first I thought you refer to Neo's Door Sensor :)

Hmmmmm ...

Yes, open&close state is what I need. But how I can get it if no devices in list? Only unknown node that seen only one time by my OZW stick during pairing.

(I was very naive and I ordered three pieces :((((( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Xenon-Z ... 0.0.t2mrtg )

Thanks again, LouiS22, for your help!

That's normal, you'll get a Unknown Sigma Designs Unknown: type=0003, id=0001 at OZW. But you'll find devices realated to this one at your Devices tab. You only have to guess which one is the Open/Close state.

Perhaps a new cheap sensor:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Original ... .33.PMtJSE

Or this tell us that it is a Zwave [ us protocol ]:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/100-Nuov ... 4ebe8bd4f5

Or:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/100-New- ... ca78d65920

Should they work/????

Orderd some...

Why is Domoticz not with the zigbee protocol?
