Well the new theme works and it is a nice way to show-off the vast amount of sensors states.
Had to convince some older domoticz (yes in age) users to migrate.. which in the end they did not
I encourage every designer to design his own theme and share it within this community..
Regarding the theme however.. I barely touch or look at it
, as Domoticz runs by itself, does all the light (colour) switching, video, audio, you name it.
Still kudo's +100 for the new default theme and Gizmocuz for starting domoticz and supplying us with an API.

I was running this theme with the latest beta and the event system is disabled, every time i enabled it it failed again. I think this is caused by this commit:
Changed 'Disable Event System' to 'Enable Event System'
I hope this can be fixed quickly, I have now rolled back to the "old" theme that is included in the beta because my even system is more important than the theme. But I really like the new theme.

Thanks.
After spending three months to make it, including all the custom icons, barometer images, animations, dataviz, item merger code, and of course all the CSS for two themes.. it still hasn't been integrated

And is there a reason for this ?
Looks a great ui for me...

I have a small issue after installing the theme.
The eventsystem is set to "disable" and it's not possible to save as "Enabled"... Anyone else had that problem?

Replaced the www folder like explained in the OP and everthing stays the same, even after clearing the cache and trying a new web browser.
Anything special one has to do?
BTW used WINSCP to copy over the new files

I even tried installing a new browser in my computer, even using another PC never used to enter the dashboard.
Will wait for final release.

I have stopped trying to make it a new default theme, and have just created two normal themes based on my work. Hopefully these will be allowed to come shipped with Domoticz.
Here is the pull request:
https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/pull/1948
Differences:
- Use JQuery to change HTML on the fly (instead of having them added to Domoticz core code). Specifically merging divider divs to allow for more fluid width designs (two column layout on medium sized screens), and adding wrapper span tags inside of the table cells, to allow for more flexible display of item properties.
- I have been able to add rudimentary datavizualisations to the dashboard, by moving the code for that into the theme's JS file.
I was also happy to see that some of my changes have made it into Domoticz. Specifically:
- Using CSS to indicate item status (protected, timeOut, etc) instead of hard coded.
- Some changes to the HTML output, including section divs on the dashboard.
- Some tags int he body tag which reflect the design settings that the user has set.
So kudos to Gizmocus for that.
If the themes get accepted I will spend some time polishing them where necessary.
