Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
Sad to hear you are alone in such good job. I had to move to Openhab because it does have the complete support for MHS1 and all the other things I have. The only feature still unsupported is the AUX channel, but it now supports the integration with Google Home and is growing faster.
TY anyway

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
I'm happy to let you know that domoticz now supports HMAC authentication (from beta version 4.11207).
Can anyone test this new feature with MyHome server1, screen 10" etc.?
Look for your feedback..
I also started writing some information on the wiki. If someone wants to contribute and complete this page, you are welcome ..

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
I just upgraded to 11207 and tried to define the mhs1 gateway, but it continues to ask for a numeric only password. I have an alphanumeric password with a special character on MHS1 and the message does not like it.
After changing the password to a 1-9, a-z, A-Z only, it seems to work. I have to redefine all discovered devices, and I'll report here if they work after a complete check. TY!

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
At first look everything is going well. I would like to switch to MHS1 to have a complete test but I do not know how to save my historical data from temperature sensors. I see that mhs1 has a complete new set of devices and in the db I have over a year of old data related to different IDs. Is there a way to move the db contents to a new device?

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
Another previus update changes the IDs of many devices to better integrate them with domoticz. This operation is done automatically when this beta version is first started.
I believe that you don't have to create a new hardware with the connection to MHS1, only change IP and password to the old hardware in the domoticz configuration. Everything should work, only first back up your database.

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
Perfect! I switched to MHS1 and everything is working with old data from db.
Only a minor change: in the alarm status for the Burglar Alarm I received Engaged/Disengaged. Now the result is (1) Engaged/(0) Disengaged.
Is there a way to take away the number from the staus output? TY

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
Honestly I do not know.
it depends on the fact that now the standard domoticz devices are used instead of the custom ones.
I have to check what I can do.

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
In effect the burglar alarm does no more work with mhs1 gw. I tried to delete the devices and they are not discovered after restarting domoticz. All unused devices are rediscovered if deleted, but not the ones related to the burglar alarm. Maybe it is not supperted in this version.

Can you see any burglar alarm log when you enable your alarm?

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
I saw it this morning at first check after update, but after a hour it stopped to see the various devices and i had to return back to the old gw to see them again as new devices. I'm sure it worked once because I engaged and disengaged once and it logget that, then no more, also after restarting.

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
I tried with an F454 and it all seems ok. can you test first with one gateway and then with the other and can you send me logs? the new devices created, what differences do they have compared to the old ones? just the id?

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
I already did this test: defining the MHS1 as a new hardware, after restarting domoticz I have created all new OWN devices as unused, but I find nothing related to the alarm, while if I do the same test using the actual Touch 3.5 LN4890 as gateway I have several devices:
I suppose that MHS1 does something as firewalling comunication to the alarm central ...

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
ok, i didn't understand. it's probably like you say a limitation of the MHS1.
Bticino does not consider it a gateway and still recommends F454.
In any case all the devices supported in domoticz work with F454, MH202 and LN4890. I tried them all.

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
TY very much. In this case I'm still in trouble because the only way to control my 3486 is via unofficial gateway LN4890: I have no GSM field here.
I suppose that if the limitation is in MHS1, neither Openhab will support the 3486 via AUX channels.
Very sad to see that I have no other solution than changing the 3486. But I think that the new 4200 central needs another kind of cabling, not using the scs bus. Too expensive for me!

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
MHS1 or LN4890 are both unofficial gateways. Why do you want to use MHS1?
In any case you could do 2 hardware in domoticz:
1- MHS1 for all devices except burglar alarm
2- LN4890 for the burglar alarm
Consider that the only official gateway remains F454.

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
Now I'm using both gateways and two softwares (Domoticz and Openhab). I would like to reorganize the system without new expenses. You suggestion is really useful: I can use both gateways, defining the devices supported by each one. TY for this smart suggestion!

Re: OpenWebNet developing..?
Hi, in the last beta version I added the possibility to manually add devices for sending custom commands to the bticino gateway.
This should at least partially allow for the integration of missing systems like Sound diffusion.
I added a short description here:
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/MyHome_Op ... _Interface
If anyone can do some tests I would like to have some feedback.
Thanks.
