I don't know what you mean with a view-only account. So far I know the issue is in the Android app, not the Domoticz installation it selfs. If you have some instructions or suggestions I can try to provide you details to troubleshoot.

P.s. I already cleared the caches and removed the app and reinstalled it. Did not help.

I'm not at home and the Domoticz server can only be accessed locally. The issue I see in the android app is like below. I deleted the app, no backup, reinstalled and made new server settings manually. It did not work.

Remove app settings, clear cache.. Don't import old settings!!
Manuall reconnect your app settings via the startup screens

I have latest beta and i have a big problem on my Galaxy S6 with Android 6.0.1 with enable fingerprint security. When i enable this and have assigned fingerprint i run app domoticz and very offten i can not open app domoticz because when i touch my finger app will be closed. Sometimes i run ok but more time i can not run

Ok i test and with fingerprint is still very big problem. Now i can not run app. I clear memory and config again and problem is still. I touch finger sensor and not reconized my finger. In android works ok.


Next bug is After creator wizard when finish app will closed and i must open again. Should automatical reopen.

Fingerprint dialog also has a password failover if your fingers are not recognized...
PS, i use the Fingerpint SDK of Android.. Samsung build in their own sdk/api for fingerprints (sucks!!)

No looks good. Sometimes recognized but more time not reconized.

The new version of the app is acting crazy on my S7.

Quick points -

Slow to respond.
Switches list disappears and then reappears (after taking ages to load).
Widgets are pretty much useless. The status doesn't update between the app and the widget.

One thing it was doing last night was repeating multiple commands over and over again. For example..

I turned my kitchen Philips Hue light from red to white: The app didn't respond. I then turned the bulb off and then back on again: the app didn't respond.
Then, after about a minute, the light started turning on and off, and changing from white to red multiple times. It did this non stop for about 2 minutes.
The exact same thing happened with my bathroom Hue bulb 30 mins later when i tried it.

I got an old Alcatel Pixi 3 phone from a friend that would make a nice control thingie for mounting on the wall in the livingroom. But i get the same message that the app is not compatible with my device. I guess that it could be the low resolution, it is only 320x480. It runs Android 4.4

I also saw a new Alcatel Pixi 4 at a local store for only 49 euro. Resolution 480x800. Running Android Marshmellow.
But how can i check if it can run this app before i spend money on it. It is cheap but if it does not work it's still a waste of money.

What are the specs for this app?

Beta or Standard?

I'm currently on 5613. There's a beta update showing as 5640, but if I turn it to only show standard updates there's nothing.

It may be best for you to load the dashboard in a browser instead of the app?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice so I think that should clear the cache on removal of the app?
