patoo77 wrote: Tuesday 11 February 2025 0:06 Hello everyone,

First, I apologize for the delay in responding. I wanted to share some good news: a new version of Pilot will be released soon to support the latest Domoticz API. This update ensures that Pilot remains compatible with Domoticz 2024.7 and future versions.

You can expect the release by the end of the week. In the meantime, feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Morning Elmardam! I found this post in my search to why Pilot app isn't working anymore with Domoticz 2025.2 installed on my Raspberry Pi. Did you find a solution for it? I tried to reach out to Mr. Patrick Ferreira, but no response so far. Maybe you can help me forward... or can confirm that Pilot isn't working with this version. Thanks for your reply in advance! Nice weekend!

What's the problem you're having exactly, I'm using the latest Beta and the latest Pilot and don't have any problems.

The Pilot app just doesn't connect with the correct account settings.

I think you need to review every step you make. Does Pilot connect with the internal IP address? Do you use the right port? What security settings in Domoticz do you use? Has something changed in your setup? Etc. etc.

Please note that there has been an update to the Thermostat support in domoticz, where these devices could and now do appear as "Thermostat 6" type (since Dec 2025). This is a combined setpoint and temperature device for which the standard device.updateSetpoint() command will no longer work. Hence, this is likely to cause havoc for Pilot users.

Please reference https://github.com/tuk90/RemehaHome-Domoticz/issues/40

It would be great if Pilot could be updated to work with the new api call device.updateThermostat() instead, and note that there are more parameters. Unfortunately, the Thermostat6 type behaves a little differently and Pilot will need to support the old type and this new type concurrently it seems.

Note: At the moment, Pilot will not allow the set-point of these devices to be updated.

What has dzvents command device.updateSetpoint() has to do with this. It should still work for thermostat 6 https://wiki.domoticz.com/DzVents:_next ... eta_2025.2
The default API setpoint command will also still work: https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/issues/6480

Hi everyone,

I’ve just released a maintenance update for Pilot — version 2026.2 — with a focus on Apple Watch responsiveness and interactive widgets on iOS.

✅ What’s New in 2026.2
⌚ Apple Watch
* Faster app launch on the Watch
* More responsive controls for devices/scenes
* Better sync between Watch and iPhone
* Smoother handling of larger device lists

📱 Interactive iOS Widgets
* Tap-to-control behavior
* More reliable widget refresh
* Better consistency with real-time states

The main goal here was to make quick interactions — like toggling a light, controlling blinds, or launching a scene — feel snappier and more predictable, especially from the Apple Watch and Home Screen widgets.

Let me know what you think, and happy to hear feedback about any potential update requests.
