I'm a novice. And I did not understand the information from Wikipedia about my.domoticz.com.
I share the instance, but how to use it ? How to see the Web Interface of domoticz server?
You can see it after you log in at https://my.domoticz.com/.

You can click on the green icon and you will have access to your Domoticz.
Something to include on the Wiki pages.

To solve this: Check the "Shared Domoticz Allowed" checkbox on the slave instance.
It is checked (on the slave) so I've unchecked and checked it again. Still the same error :

Code: Select all

2016-01-24 11:43:07.299 Error: PROXY: Shared Server access disallowed, denying receive data request.

chimit wrote:Does this occur when you have two Domoticz's in your roster (dashboard)? I've seen this before, when one (or both) use the login page.
The cookie path is set wrong in Domoticz for use with MyDomoticz. I will try to submit a patch soon. Meanwhile, trying one or two times more helps for me in such a case.
I have four Dz into the dashboard. I will check again at the next update.
As you can see https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/commits/master, some changes had been published for the update feature 2 days ago.

Even though master/slave communication via MyDomoticz is (very) experimental, it should work.
I assume you get this error on the slave, right? Maybe the checkbox on the UI doesn't work anymore since a change from another contributor. Need to check when I get the time.

As requested, I am giving an update about a new update of the MyDomoticz service.

Angular is now used to render your roster (dashboard) and many other things have changed internally.
The update was not supposed be deployed online yet. But since there was a casual bug in the current version that made the service seem to stop working, I decided in favor of this step.

Please continue to report bugs and also please allow for some time to get a response from me due to a busy schedule.

== Rene

EDIT: I reverted to the previous version again due to some persistent problem unknown. Will update later.

René, maybe a simple way to keep us informed of a new version would be to add something in the login page below the actual footer

Code: Select all

Note: This is a beta service and not meant for production use. Use at your own risk.
For a description, see the Domoticz Wiki.
By using this page, you agree to our Terms & Conditions.
Compiled on yyyy/mm/dd
MyDomoticz service is online for xxxx
Adding date + time of your latest compilation would be nice and also the duration since the last start of your service.("Online for" like you do with the clients)

Nice idea. We already have the online time on our admin pages. Will put it on the list as well.

I made a mistake myself. I was running 2 Raspberry Pi's with a copy of the Domoticz database at the same time. This also means the Instance ID, API and password were the same. I guess there might have been some conflicts on the MyDomoticz service because of this.
I actually needed only one of them to connect to the MyDomoticz service. Now I removed the MyDomoticz settings in Domoticz on the second Pi, but I still cannot connect.
The MyDomoticz website says my Domoticz has been online for almost 21 hours, but if I connect (click the green icon), an empty page shows up. If I check the logging in Domoticz I see the following message: "Error: PROXY: Connect failed, reconnecting: Connection refused". I get this message every 10 seconds.
If I switch om MyDomoticz on the second Pi, I get the following message: "Error: PROXY: Connect failed, reconnecting: Network is unreachable".

How can I fix this? Or is this an actual bug and something I cannot fix myself?

Any error on your Domoticz ? Could sometime help to disable/enable the service on Domoticz.

Hi guys. I'm just wondering if it will be possible to route ImperiHome app users via this service to the MDAH gateway? If anyone has done it already, I'd appreciate the steps needed to set this up. http://domoticz.com/wiki/ImperiHome

To keep you updated a bit: Meanwhile I find time for a newer update, I put online just some fixes that prevents the web server part from responding at certain times.
It will be active after the next restart. I will be monitoring, so I can revert back in case of anomalies.
