Instead of "my home address", you need to actually give it your home address :P

Yeah I also noticed that... Need to fix that asap. I am afraid location services are not to work with iOS 8, until I update the app.

This new update doesn't fix the login issues when using the "login page" authentication method in Domoticz.

Did you try switching to "Basic-Auth"?

Hi there, the location services appears to have found me. Popping out in a bit so I'll bee able to test then.

Just wondered with energy devices is it possible to see current consumption or is it just total for the day?

Regards and thank you again for the quick fix.

You can't see realtime consumption.
However, I made sure that geofencing only uses wifi and cellular location. That way it won't use that much battery.

I'm using pilot all the time and I never noticed a battery drop.

I think he means power consumption from zwave devices, not iphone battery drain.

Altough i see more battery drain as before since last update. (Ios 8.0)

Hi,
I meant the owl devices, they show daily consumption not instant consumption.

Sorry I feel I'm picking fault all the time lol. It's a great app.

Lastly does anybody struggle to use the sliders to dim the lights? Everytime I try to slide it across it slides the whole item across. Might be an iPhone 6 only thing.

Keep up the good work, and the geofence worked great. The wife and I have been out twice today and worked as expected both times.

P.S if you are using an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus don't update to iOS 8.0.1 as it breaks cellular and touch ID. Think Apple has pulled it now, unfortunately I was so lucky and now basically have a large iPod touch.

Cheers

There was no change to the way location services work since last update.

No worries mate :)
I will revamp the whole interface soon. For now, the interface is really simple and only retrieves the main information used in Domoticz. Not ideal in many cases.
As for using the sliders, try holding it first for a second, then slide.

PS: You might be interested to know that The Verge just realized a "howto" to rollback to iOS 8.0: http://www.theverge.com/2014/9/24/68393 ... 0-1-update

Tried holding the slider first with same result. Let me know how it works on your iPhone 6.

A roll back will take ages as I have a large bank up file. Fingers crossed Apple will get their finger out with this one lol. Thanks for the info though, I'll still check it out :-)

Hello
Great app you made. I don't understand why didn't you use the apple standard for apps. One free app and one pro app you have to buy?

I now actvted it on my ipad for testing. I thought it will be then also available on my iphone, but that is not the case.:-(.

Apple made apps available for the whole family in ios 8. This will also not work. It there a way to fix?
If the app was twice the money i bought it also. If i got a new iphone i must buy the app again?

Suggestion: can you add icons? Lamp, garagedoor, etc:-)

Thanks for your nice input mate!

It is not really standard to make a free app and a pro app. Had I done that, you would have lost all your settings when switching from free to the pro app. Chose in-app purchase instead.

When you install Pilot on another device, you will have to enter your settings again.
I am considering including iCloud support, so that you can share the server settings among your devices. Should arrive at some point, but not in the short term.

In-app purchases are not included in the family sharing feature. That means you can't share the in-app purchase with your family members.
However, if you get a new iPhone and use the same account, you can restore your purchase, so you don't have to pay twice.

I am working on improving the whole interface, so icons should be included at some point. :)

Let me know if you got any other suggestion :D

Thank you for your answer. Another suggestion and maybe simple to make? Or maybe it's all in it.
Is there a way to push messages? For example the message you can create with events can popup on your telephone.

Then we don't have to buy an other app to do this. :-)
