Sorry, but i want tell the same thing. So, it's impossible to know the state of the valve lc-13 or the temperature of the same valve. if i want to start the boiler only when the temperature is under the set point i need to buy a thermometer zwave or 433 mhz. it' correct ? thanks to all.Szmalu wrote:No it doesn't. Use the devolo or the popp version of the danfoss lc13. They report the temperature back.

Now i have 4 LC-13 and i need another 3 valve. Iam just in time to return the LC13 to the store. I'm so confused. I don't know if buy another LC-13 and some thermostat everspreeng to start/stop the boyler from 3 zones (day, night, bathrooom) or take 7 Poop new without the thermostat ande the Popp start/stop the boiler.ervine wrote:I have the Popp. Working just fine.

Can you post a screenshot of the sensor present in the node Popp ? thank you.

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
Being able to read the temperature of the the internal thermometer in the valve has nothing to do with a relay to switch a boiler.
It's just that you maybe don't need a extra thermometer in the room. But then you don't have the option to place the thermometer where you want it.

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
Good morning, now i have the LC13 with 3 setpoint imposted in alternative zone hours.
example:
00:00-08:00 18.5°
08:00-16:00 21°
16:00-00:00 19.5°
So this degrees setting in valve are necessari to open or close the valve in function on the temperature read from the same valve ( but i don't know this date).
I can't switch always on the boyler, i want that the boyler come on when the temperature in the room in under the set poin end off when the temperature is over. what i need to take this operation? i think its necessary read the room temperature and comparate the date with the setpoint impostated in the valve.

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
It's simple:
for each room you need a thermometer and a valve.
If you use the Popp valve you can use the built-in thermometer, if you use the Danfoss valve you need another thermometer.
For the heater you need a switch with a potential free contact (if your boiler has just a relay input and is not opentherm).

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
Egrerius,
I see you are from beitem, not far away from me, i live in Rumbeke
Im wondering, you have opentherm? Or you work with a relay to switch on your heating?
Im planning to order some popp , my heating is from Vaillant , but i see it does not support opentherm
Just want to know how someone else have done his installation, maybe some pics?
Thanks

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
I just removed the room thermostat and placed a horstman relay in the gas heater. At that point I didn't know the Fibaro relays also have a potential free contact, those are cheaper.
I read here the Popp version has the advantage that it sends the temperature. I needed a thermometer in each room for that.

You mean something like this
https://www.sossolutions.be/fibaro-rela ... 0wodPqQBOA ?
I see with the horstman it will shutdowns by itself when its on too long, maybe better for the +-10€ more?
Safety issue
How you activate the relay? By setpoints in domoticz?

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
I didn't know that about the Horstman. No settings at all to configure for this device.
All is done with virtual setpoints, thermometers and valves in my pass2php script. There's quit some intelligence in it. Like stop the heater before the temperature is accomplished to avoid over heating, or start heater before it's to cold. I get a temp histeris of 0.1°C
See http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... 23&t=12343 and https://egregius.be/tag/domoticz

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
my current thermostat is connected now to 3-4 (230V/50Hz)
if a buy the Horstmann relay http://www.vesternet.com/z-wave-horstma ... ceiver-hrt
(like yours?)
where do i need to connect this relay then?
hopefully you can point me in the correct direction

thank you

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
I would say on the same connectors. That's in the case you want to completely remove the room thermostat.
Another option is to use a double relay. One parallel and one in serie with your room thermostat.
That way you can override the roomthermostat with the first relay (in case you need heat in another room) or interrupt the roomthermostat (in case you're not at home etc).
My relay is defined as "Horstmann ASR-ZW Thermostat Receiver" in Domoticz. Picture looks the same.
I bought mine at https://www.betaalbare-domotica.be/
Secure Boiler Actuator 3A SEC_SSR303 1 € 52,85

You mean this one :
https://www.robbshop.nl/fibaro-schakelmodule-2-1-5-kw
Then i could do what you say (i think)
seems i need to be quickly, it's an end of life product

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
When i connect with a double relay like you said, i can not Harm my Vaillant heater?
This is the manual: https://www.robbshop.nl/amfilerating/fi ... le_id/203/
My thermostaat is now connected to pin3 and 4 at my Vaillant heater
Is it possible to make a drawing of how i should connect all?
Thank you!

Re: StellaZ vs Danfoss Living connect vs Komforthaus Comet ?
How could you harm it?
If it's an ordinary thermostat now al it does: open the 2 wires = off, close/short circuit the 2 wires = on. Quite simple.

Functions:
Q1 Off Q2 Off = No heat
Q1 On Q2 Off = room thermostat controls heater
Q1 Off Q2 On = Domoticz requested heat
Q1 On Q2 On = room thermostat and domoticz requested heat
